It sounds positively stupendous. I have two CDs on order from the Beat Goes On right now:
-Radiohead: Hail To The Thief (because my original copy got stolen)
-DJ Shadow: The Private Press

I am anticipating both with great...er....anticipation.

Sonic Youth - A Thousand Leaves (very good!!)

Some j-Music Sampler (which, for the most part, rocks!)
Cream - Live Vol.2 (Much better than volume one)

Records:
Bob Dylan - Nashville Syline (Still haven't listened)
Lenny Bruce - The Sick Humour of... (original price: $40. What i paid: $10)
Devo - Q: Are We Not Men A: We Are DEVO!!
Frank Zappa - Them or Us (only a few worthy tunes)
Sun Ra - Solo Piano Vol.1 ("They" say the sound quality wasn't the best, but screw them!)
"Nothing is real, all is permitted"
- Hassan i Sabbah
"There's nothing wrong with anything."

"Nothing is real, all is permitted"
- Hassan i Sabbah
"There's nothing wrong with anything."

I got that DJ Shadow disc, it is a rollicking good time. I also finally bought the latest Deftones disc last week. Also good. I have A Thousand Leaves, but I have yet to listen to it. I really must get around to that.

I know that you will all laugh at me for this..unless it is thought as something that I would do...

I bought the new Britney Spears, In the Zone. It's a very sexual album, tis very good.

I got a working copy of "Pure Yak Frenzy" a while ago, and I had time to copy all the songs to my computer before the CD gave out.

In short, I hate Cafepress.

I'm in the process of making a digital jukebox (converting my CDs to mp3s and a lossless format as well) So I'm listening to a lot of older stuff again.

Right now:
Tin Star - The Thrill Kisser
The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
Portishead - Dummy
Robbie Williams - the Ego has landed

As I put more and more in, more and more stuff will be heard blink.gif

Oh yeah and the Japanese import of remixes of Sting's Brand New Day

All I say is "Yay Flaming Lips!" Anyone who saw Wayne Coyne on Call For Help on Friday (he was there to discuss the marvel of DVD Audio CDs, which Yoshimi has been re-released on) surely had quite the treat! It was a marvelous interview.

It's because you're charmingly befuddled.
