Sure this movie has beyond horrible use of Dialogue and CGI. But what scenes did you enjoy despite all the crap?

Surprisingly I liked evrey scene with Ian Mcdiarmid in it. I really liked his duel with mace and the other jedis(despite there poor reaction speed).

the final duels with Obi-Wan and Anakin were rather amazing. I also enjoyed Yoda and Sidious despite the rather poor ending.

I think the best part about this movie is the musical score. Even though it is not apparent, I think the score during the final duels enhances the scene more then we would realise.

I really enjoyed the opera scene between Palpatine/Anakin and the "silent" Anakin/Padme sequence.

Silence is always good with dialogue like that. I found that scene very moving as well.

Another good one has to see that dam cockey, arrogant teenager we had to put up with for all the PT get his limbs cut off and catch fire.

No wonder Obi-Wan let him burn

- seeing Anakin as a starpilot, for once
- friendship moments between Anakin and Obi Wan; they felt real and rather touching, which made the falling out slightly tragic
- any pre-face-melting Palpatine scene
- the Order 66 scene, and Yoda's reaction

THE best scene is when Anakin marches into the temple with the stormtroopers.

Without a doubt (and this may attest to the weakness of the film as a whole), but the scene where Yoda takes out the Royal Guards with the force . . . cool, cool, cool.

Oh, and of course, any scene with Jimmy Smitts in it.

I agree that that scene was pretty well done even if it was stolen, frame by frame, from the scene in Ghostbusters. wink.gif

I've seen Ghostbusters I don't know how many times; but I'm drawing a blank, Chef. To what scene are you referring?

I don't understand why everyone likes the opera scene. To me it was the emporer assuring Ani with phrases like "Oooh, yes." and nodding very unconvincingly. Ani was just totally confused.

And why does everyone keep referring to a bunch of fish jumping into different globes of water as "opera"? Isn't opera singing?

Which scene are you referring to? Do you mean when the Keymaster and the Gatekeeper meet?

Beru takes baby Luke up to the hill, where Owen is standing, watching the twin suns set.
Actually, that's probably the only good part in the movie.
