I would go with:

1. Empire
2. A New Hope
3. Revenge of the Sith
4. Jedi
5. AOTC
6. Phantom Menace

I actually have seen Sith a few times and it has held up well with me under repeated viewings unlike the other 2 prequels. I give it a slight edge over Jedi, simply over personal preference.

Honestly though, when it is time for my future kids to view it, they will see it as I did: 4-6, then 1-3.

I really respect people who still like a new hope better then any others . it is the best and the first to come out ever. but this is my list

Like many on this site, I found the prequels to be the epitome of disappointment, one after the other . . . ROTS was no exception. Because of the dearth of quality storytelling, in a movie that was supposed to be the most meaningful, ROTS may be the worst of all. (relegating AOTC to be the most pointless of the SW movies)

Revenge of the Sith is not a good movie for you because you wont let it be.same goes with attack of the clones. id bet if i had a time machine and went back and changed the prequels there would still be a bunch of people that bitch about them on forums.

I would definitely bitch if the prequels were changed.
But then I like bad acting, terrible dialogue, seeing gratuitous references to the OT, throwaway characters, inconsistencies to the OT, overblown special effects, 'funny' CGI characters and illogical plotlines.

Have you been smoking pot or something?  99.9% of film critics have said that ROTS is a better film than the previous 2 prequel films, but that it doesn't hold a candle to A New Hope and more especially The Empire Strikes Back.  Most fans are in agreement with this sentiment.  You only have to visit the various fanboy web sites to realise this.
