As you've noticed, the forums have been reorganized. I need to find a place to put general Star Wars discussion. Things that aren't about one specific movie.

So I want to get everyone's feedback on how this would best be organized.

Lemme know. smile.gif

I like the new changes. You can never be too organized.

I like this new forum but...a) how can you, Hecc, civ and despondent cover all of these forums.
cool.gif keep the central forum for overarcing or ambiguous topics.

Too much clickling, too many lost threads. Plus with the penchant for threads to go off topic, how do you decide when/where to move them?
I would prefer one SW Saga Forum (general chat), one for the PT and one for the OT.

The current organisation is good if you have hundreds of posters (like the theforce.net), but face it, we aren't there yet. tongue.gif

The fewer the better. I don't visit places that don't keep my interest so I'll miss whole sections because I don't browse around through everything. Could you increase the number of threads that show up on the first page?

The only thing I don't like about it is that I have to do a ton of clicking. Other than that it's great, I don't have to go three pages back to find replies to threads.

Well, we do have hundreds of posters, with 8-10 new members registering each day. The way it was set up, there could be a topic started in the morning and by the evening it was on the second page. I thought that perhaps this would make things a little more focused. Ideally it would be nice to have a way to display all the posts from all the forums in one centralized location but I"m working to see if IPB will let me do that.

More feedback! smile.gif

Bear with me while I work on it. It's a work in progress. More feedback is needed.

I accedentially voted for option #2, when I meant to vote for option #3. Don't let my idiocy influence your layout.

In all fairness, Option # 2 and # 3 are pretty much the same....

So, when does this poll close?

No, they're actually quite different. 2 is like it was before, and 3 is having two forums, one for OT and one for PT (Plus one that spans both would be a good idea)
