I was shopping around ebay for the OT dvd set. It sells for around 25-30 dollars. I found a bunch of six disk sets of all six movies for 35 dollars. Its rather sad really, but I guess it shows how valued the PT is right?

WHAT!?
and to think i paid good
money for the OT.
Seriously, it was not cheap or easy.
I had to wrestle some guy to the floor
just to get a Fullscreen copy.
And the incompetence i encountered
while trying to acquire the PT has yet to be match.
When I special order something I expect
it to be there, and i expect the fools
working there to know where it is.

This brings the question: Why do people still buy things without using Ebay?

Hoff: the price of a DVD or boxed set is generally more due to economic factors of supply and distribution, and may have nothign to do with the quality of the film. You can buy CHINATOWN for about $10 anywhere.
