No doubt, I never thought of that before. 20 years and suddenly Obi-Wan is an old man. How old was he in ROTS?
Let's see... The TPM script gives his age as 25. RotS takes place 12 years later, which would make him 37 at that point. And if Luke is about 18 in ANH, that would put Obi-Wan in his mid-50s (!!) Poor guy; life on Tatooine must have been pretty hard on him to age him that quickly.
Yet another reason why it was such a crappy idea to start off with Anakin as a 9-year-old and Obi-Wan as an apprentice. He should have been a Master, or at least a Knight, by the time he first met Anakin.

As for the Emporer, the EU had a perfectly good explanation: his extensive and constant use of the Dark Side drained him significantly, aging him by years and years. That's certainly better than force lightning scarring.
This would indeed make sense if it had happened gradually over the years between the PT and OT. However, it doesn't explain why his face ages
immediately, and leaves him looking even worse than he did in the OT!

The sandpeople had women and children. We know this because Anakin killed them how could he tell? The children might be smaller but I never saw a sandperson with breasts. Did they hike their skirts and show him some leg or something?

Also, I can see the point of wanting to kidnap a human and use her as a slave, but they didn't. They tied her to a flimsy easel for a month. It's assumed they had to feed and give her water. What for? Was she purely ornamental? I can understand them wanting the droids, you can sell those for a lot of money, but a chick who's only skills are finding non-existand mushrooms and getting randomly pregnant, you're not going to get much.
