QUOTE (Mnesymone @ Jun 2 2005, 09:45 PM)
"For those who argue Qui Gon was a wise Jedi, why the hell did he bring Jar Jar along in Mos Espa when he clearly served no purpose, and Qui Gon said "We need to remain conspicious""
Michel, don't you know?
Qui-Gon brought Jar Jar so the desert wind would dry up his amphibian flesh and kill him. smile.gif, so he was very miffed when Anakin offered all of them shelter.

Ah, so there was a method to his madness. Makes me respect Qui Gon in a whole new light now (just too bad he failed angry.gif )

Of course he failed. The big secret of the prequels is that Jar Jar is strong with the Force. So strong, in fact, that nobody (including himself) knows it. It is he who actually brings balance to the Force by enabling Palpatine's coup d'etat. Anakin was just a lightweight and a tool in comparison to the mighty Binks.

Ah yes... when order 66 goes down and Anakin dramatically leads clones to the slaughter of children it is all because of Jar-Jar Binks and his emergency powers bill.
Jar-Jar killed them all.

But the question was which would I mutilate brutally? or was it violently?

I'm no lightsaber expert. I had fun with the three nephews last weekend (my 2nd viewing of rots, their first. but they all had the lightsabers: red, purple and blue and I did get some practice time in. It was great.) They really are good boys.
Point being, Qui-gon, Mace and Annie having actual dueling experience, I probably would not be able to mutilate them. I'm not fooling anyone here.

Padme I'd keep around and Jar-Jar would be an easy mark.
I'm not in it for the rebellion, sister.

So far a tie between Jar-Jar and Mesandophiles.

Shmi Skywalker...by virtue of the way she died.

"Annie? Annie?" choke and die.

And what exactly killed her?

Sure, she was probably beaten, starving, etc. but what is her REASON FOR DYING?

There was another thread dedicated to that subject... but her reason for dying I thought was obvious... she saw Anakin (cause) she died (effect)

And also - if you would kill her because of the way she died it's a bit late.

1. Why isn't General Grievous there?

2. Why is Padme there when Grievous isn't?

3. Why is teen Anakin there when child Anakin isn't?

4. Where the hell is Viceroy Gunray?

Fuck that, I would kill all of them. In fact, I would use my time machine to nuke GL's house and kill him, destroying the entire existence of the prequels.

Then, using what's left of him you could put into your cloning machine and create a mindless GL that can be manipulated to make some decent prequels.
