Helena - Well, if you wanna just work out a couple of panels to experiment with, I could give those a go and see how they turn out.

How large would the panels be, and what sort of material do you need?
QUOTE
The sandpeople had women and children. We know this because Anakin killed them how could he tell? The children might be smaller but I never saw a sandperson with breasts. Did they hike their skirts and show him some leg or something?

QUOTE
Also, I can see the point of wanting to kidnap a human and use her as a slave, but they didn't. They tied her to a flimsy easel for a month. It's assumed they had to feed and give her water. What for? Was she purely ornamental? I can understand them wanting the droids, you can sell those for a lot of money, but a chick who's only skills are finding non-existand mushrooms and getting randomly pregnant, you're not going to get much.

I can get the material myself, once I see what's needed. As for the panels, um... well, if you're talking about drawing size, that's up to me... but if you mean in terms of action and dialogue, well that's up to you. If it's insanely hard to work with, I'll let you know. That's why I suggested only doing a few, to see how things go.

Ironically enough, I've got an idea for a comic, I can just about draw everyone... but I'm too lazy to think of any good plot ideas. Ho hum.

Smells collaboration idea.

Anywho, much as I'd like to toss my hat into the ring, Rhubarb, I...erm...well I can't really think of a good reason to not do so. I just have a vague, nagging feeling that working with you would result in one of two things. 1) I die. 2) I die and you laugh maniacally.

Maybe we should all work on a comic together. Could be interesting. Or we could all end up killing each other. Either way, it'll be funny.
I finally got a sig!

Oh God, I had no idea! How can they keep it going? You mean, Return of the Children of the Corn etc? Children of the Corn 2? Children of the Corn and the Prisoner of Azkaban? I Know What You Did With The Children Of the Corn???? Yes, it's horrible!!!!
-Some guy on IMDB.com just finding out that there was more than one Children of the Corn movie

Or you could make a comic about trying to make a comic that ends with you killing one another.

I'd offer up my skills in the writing/comics area, but the only ideas I have at the moment are rather bizarre and large scale and I dunno how well they would come out, even with the proper artistic talent behind the words...

The trouble is that I know very little about webcomics, so I'm not sure which bits would be suitable. Maybe the second scene of the first chapter? I can see why most of the longer scenes would be difficult, but I'm not keen on the idea of having to rewrite most of the script.

Helena - Well, I don't really want to tell you what to write... I mean, that's your job. I suck at that shit. It's why I started this thread in the first place, ja? Do you still wanna do it? We could always get a third person in to actually put it altogether, if you (and they) were into it. My drawin' finger's gettin' kinda itchy.

I guess it's a sign I really should tune my persona down a notch or two when Heccubus is scared of me.

What I'm trying to say is this: I'd love to do it, but I'll have trouble finding the time if it means having to majorly rewrite large parts of my script. The other problem I have is that without any examples to go on, I'm not really sure what format it would need in order to be suitable for your webcomic. I've given you a link to the script; maybe if you could just choose a short excerpt that you think would work as it is, and draw a few panels to give me an idea?

I don't know if I'm too late or not, but I have the oppostite problem. I have shit loads of short stories I want to produce as webcomics but I can't draw for shit - my writing is perhaps not much better but we'll leave that aside for now ...

If you are interested Rhub and want to see some examples I'd be happy to email them.
I'm currently attempting an update of Hamlet, but if this isn't what you are into let me know and I can adapt/rewrite anything I've written to suit you

I don't think the dark humour from my (short) stories are suitable for web comics.

Miss Celestial hasn't been seen around these parts for awhile. But I thought you knew her in real life? Some of your previous posts implied it, anyway.
