Yay for humanity's destruction of the environment! Being a hermit isn't even going to help anymore - I'm rather dismayed. Is there anything our race can't fuck up?

Though to be fair, as much as I'd like to jump up and down and yell at global warming, there doesn't seem to be a clear correlation yet. If it's true, it makes me wonder if anything will change, or the rest of the world will just let Europe freeze early... My opinion is that the ability to watch television and order fast food is more important to Average Joe than a group of people who he only knows about from elementary school geography.

I really hate humanity sometimes... It saddens me that we have all of this squandered potential.

Edit: Ah, rampant political correctness and political bullshit. "Climate change" they call it now.

Like there's less icecaps melting and ocean currents ruining ecosystems...

the "Debate" on global warming is a lot like the "debate" on evolution.

It's taught in every text book and learning institution we know of, but some would just like to pretend that it's done by magical fairies from Jesus.

Well, I was in a Batman vein, like I said. And he said "fuck humanity," not "fuck the planet." We aren't discussing one going without the other, it's mutual distruction. I have the utmost respect for this planet, and we can live on it without breaking it if we try. And I'm not about to let all of humanity die off whilest there's good people still around.

If you want to save the planet you have to destroy the human race. As a species we are determined to destroy everything. If you dave the planet it requires you to assume that the human race will change just about EVERYTHING that it has been doing since its creation: that being fucking up the planet and changing the planet to suit ourselves.
