I'm digging for topics, but oh well. So which one is your favorite?

I've always liked Piett, with Veers a close second.

Grand Moff Tarkin was my favorite, with Veers as second. The two were the only seemingly competent imperial officers.

Tarkin was responsible for the destruction of Alderan, and Veers was responsible for the Rebel retreat on Hoth.

A booby prize for Adm. Motti for being such an ass and declaiming like a melodramatic actor, "...or given you clairvoyance enough to find the rebel's hidden fortr - " before getting choked. Perhaps not the best Imperial officer but certainly one of the most memorable.

Veers has somehow impressed me as most competent but probably only because I sort of recognise the actor.

At least Needa was honest.

The petty officer who says the TK-421 line and gets killed by Chewie is my favourite. He used to be on an Australian TV show and it is an amusing scene that leads to another good moment with Luke and Han.

If you count Tarkin as an officer, which I don't, then it was him.

Ya I always felt bad for Needa. He seemed like a stand-up guy.

Veers was the only competent imperial officer. At least he's the only one who actually accomplishes something.

Veers also got to see Vader's head.

That notches him up a bit.

I liked the voice of the guy who says "she'll die before telling you anything."

A standup jerk, not afraid to speak his mind. Unlike the snivelling (dwindling,) ESB cadre.

Who was the dude that held Vader's leash in ANH? I like him.

Veers is great, his arrogance fits the part. He sounds so casual. "Yes, Lord Vader.  I've reached the main power generators.  The shield will be down in moments.  You may start your landing."

Tie between Piett and Tarkin. They're pretty awesome.

I also always loved whoever it was in ESB who is reporting to Vader while in the asteroid field. You see him and two other holograms, and then his Star Destroyer gets hit by an asteroid, he puts his hands up like, "Aaah!" and then fades away. Okay, he's my favorite.

Even though I am partial to Tarkin (being a Moff and all) you can't deny the TCB attitude of Veers.

He had a job to do, did it well and kicked ass.
