Believe me, people from nonAnglo-Saxon cultures have never heard about this web comics you mentioned. How many of you heard about the cartoon character "Corvax" that I based my name on? But I did not count on anybody getting the reference, it just sounded cool. Therefore "Dork" will always be for me a bit offensive, irrespective from the web comic.

Onto the name and avatar reading, then.

floppydisc - you change your avatars a lot and somehow neither of them stuck in my memory. I believe you still search for your identity. In the meantime, you chose a name which is a bit... nondescript, really, for the lack of a better term.
But it is also self-evident, not a reference to any cult -movie-comic-website, and easy too, which proves that you a down-to-earth, likeable person.

Emu - a name which is short, no-nonsense and funny at the same time. Denotes a person with a great sense of humour. The choice of avatar convinces me that you also do not take yourself soooooo seriously, and you like yourself and you are confident enough that you do not have to boost your image by a handsome avatar (like myself)

Jane Sherwood - again I believe it is a reference to some comic which is sadly lost on me, but it does not matter. Since it looks like a name and surname it proves that Jane is a strong personality and wants people around to know it. Coupled with the avatar with those funny, round eyes that you had some time ago (which I think together with a knife are Jane's trademark), you cannot possibly send a more strong message "here I am, like me or hate me"

looktothesky I am a bit lost here, I admit, becuse again I did not know this is a reference to a game. Therefore I might be totally wrong, but this name sands for me a strong message "I am a bit romantic and not of this world" - that I literally do not heed the mundane. But again, I might be totally, totally wrong here, but this is the message I got. Plus artistic avatars, challenging and with sense of humour spell an artist for me (bit like Laughlyn's avatars do, too)

Mnesymone - the name cannot be named better then MYSTERIOUS. For me it has connotations with Greek mythology (goddess of memory???) The person who uses this name wanted to be a bit mysterious and not reveal too much about self. Perhaps to soften this a bit and suggest the possible topic of interest a handsome well-known avatar was selected to say -look, I do not want to talk about myself, but I am sure we have plenty of common interest.

Now, having said all this I suppose I should put a disclaimer, right? These are not arcane knowledge tarot readings, these are not scientific observations, these are totally biassed opinions based on your name and avatars! You'll know for yourself then if the message you wanted to send across by selecting a name and avatar was correctly decoded! Because I can't believe names and avatars are chosen at random, they do speak a lot about what we want other people to think of us.

SimeSublime - it is a bit difficult, because I really thought at first that your name was Slime Sublime, which sends totally, totally different signal. . SimeSublime has a debonair touch to it. It also hints that there is much more to you than a down-to-earth ordinary Sime - there are hidden depths of your personality that you want us all to discover.
And you avatrs also change a lot but I remember you were the first one to reveal a photo of youself - this for me denotes strongly a trusting person. I would not do it for fear that some trolls may put my mugshot to a horrible use...

And seeing as you're missing out, I would like to say that your name lends a feeling of style and grace to your personality. Madame does give an air of superiority, but that's overshadowed by the wisdom learnt in earning that superiority. Your avatar is always Eowyn, which implies that you not only respect her, but wish to emulate her. And we all know that Eowyn is a strong but graceful character, which sums you up nicely.

I like that assessment, but the truth is "Reader" is just a modification of my surname, and the avatar is of Brian Wilson, who music geeks adore, but isn't geeky in the modern sense. Unfortunately i'm not a bookworm. I'm lucky if i can polish off one book every few months.
