Today I spoke to a Mr. Hugh Jackman, or as my girlfriend's mom calls him "That Wolverine Fellow." I figured that it was just someone that just looked exactly like Hugh Jackman until we exchanged a few words and I realized that he sounded exactly like him too.

He was a lot taller than I would have expected which is weird because my experience has usually been the opposite when meeting celebrities.

What struck me the most was that he was probably the most charming individual I've ever met in my life. We only talked for a minute but I couldn't get over how charming he was. It's no wonder he's rich and famous. Even if I didn't know who he was I'd probably still have made note of the encounter. He was witty, charming, pleasant and extremely, unnecessarily nice! And I got this all after a minute!

I hope our paths cross again, Hugh, because you're a damn good man.

If I had the ability to regenerate, I'd be happy all the time too. Glad to hear that he's a nice guy. If I were rich, famous, and good-looking, I would make it a point to be a complete asshole, but I guess he thinks differently from me.

if you ever see the movie 'erskenville kings' check out the house the younger brother goes to at the end... (it's probably in the begenning too, but i didn't realize until the end).

I lived there...

His brother is a Barrister in Sydney, i used to work on the floor above him, (now i'm around the corner) and i'm friends with the clerk and receptionist there... ...but i've never seen Hugh there...

hmmm... too many near misses...

I think you should also be aware that your girlfriend appears to have a girlfriend of her own. This may not be such bad news though.

It's true though. I exchanged pleasantries with Mr Jackman once many months ago. He is all that Chef describes.

All in all he's your typical Australian thumbsup.gif
