I've just seen ROTS, and I agree that the Darth Vader "Nooooooo!" must come across as one of the worst lines of dialogue in the saga. Firstly, it's out of character. Secondly, it's poorly acted. Finally, why does Vader put on some stupid pose when saying it. Plus, it goes on FOREVER.

I can't recall Vader ever getting upset about his family in the Original Trilogy. He was all too happy to have Leia executed and tortured, and Shmi and Padme never got a thought spared. Anakin has gone over the dark side of the Force. He is evil. He has just betrayed his entire galaxy and is working for the evil Emperor. He then acts as though he's just regretted it all. In the OT, Vader had no regrets about his evil actions. Just removing the "Nooo!" would have made the film so much better.

I kind of took it as the last vestiges of Anakin screaming out of his body. having said that, I understand if you dont like it.

Actually, one of the worst moments was when that female jedi with the tube outgrowths gets whacked. She literally flutters her eyes and does a stilted stage collapse!!! The guys has billions of bucks and blows them hiring second rate British theatrical understudies.

I can't believe people are still complaining about Vader's scream.

Grow up, kiddies.

believe it. one of the weakest parts of the film... a laughable moment in what should have been the most serious/important moments in the entire 6 movie series!!

Still?

The movie just came out last week.

How long do we get to complain about it?

48 hours?

No, I figured by now the shroud of stupidity would have left most people and they would have realized that this is a completely realistic scene.

Oh but I forgot, the instant Anakin puts that suit on he's instantly transformed 20 years into the future as the Darth Vader we are familiar with (100% sarcasm).

Note: I just returned from the movie a 2nd time and I still don't think the scream is that long or inappropriate or bad acting.

Yes, we all wear a shroud of stupidity for thinking that part is embarrassing and ridiculous.

Storm has officially made me feel bad about myself.

I can't believe GL thought that would make a great ending to a trilogy that captured a generations imagination. The only thing that was missing was the "chicken song" playing in the background. Perhaps it is a new craze, the Darth Vader Dance. So there ya go the truth revealed Starwars ROTS was actually supposed to be titled "STARWARS : The Lord of the dance"
