I thought I saw the Millenium Falcon. I'm pretty sure I did. I could be mistaken. Anyone have anything to say?

yes, it was in the shot of the crash-landing on corousant - bottom right of the screen, making a landing...

GL just couldn't help himself... i just have a vision of him masturbating in the editing room after viewing that scene... thanks, chef elf!

I can't believe I'm about to defend a PT movie "thing".. but the YT1300 was a pretty common spaceship and when the Mil Falcon was at it's best during the OT the standard models were rather outdated, so having them around in the PT isn't that bad.
On saying that, when you get the DVD version of RotS no doubt a pre-10 yr old Han Solo will be seen waving from the cockpit if you zoom in on it, cos it is THE Mil Falcon and not a generic YT.
Oh and of course the YT would be the first in the "new" line of ships being made, where sleek silver designs were out and boxey, cereal packet designs were in!

That wouldn't surprise me.

i think its great that if you look hard enough you can see a YT. That's the way all OT cameos should be done. none of this Greedo/Boba Fett bullshit.

Didn't Lando own the Millenium Falcon in the first place? So if anything it would be a 10 year old Lando, not Han Solo.

Very true, but your assumption is GL can remember his own stories from the OT, and that makes you a braver man than me!
And I agree with JAWF, that is a nice subtle link to the OT, the way it should be done. Making every minor character (and much as the fan boys get hard over him, Fett was less than a minor character) an integral part of the story is just desperation for acceptance.

Fett was not a minor character in ESB. Without him, Han would've never been taken. However, since he's rescued with little incident... I guess we could've done without Boba Fett.

What did Fett do in TESB exactly to make him, non-minor? Sorry but all I saw him do was track the Falcon in Slave 1 which although lead to the capture wasn't exactly a major piece of plot or story. He didn't capture Han and the gang, that was Stormtroopers. He didn't beat them into getting to Bespin and set the trap, that was Vader. He didn't even seal Han in carbonite, that was Vader and his cronies with some Ugnaut assistance. In fact Fett did as much as the snouty fellow in ANH who followed the gang to docking bay 94 and tipped off the Storm Troopers about where they were. Hardly a major role imo.
He just has a cool suit, a cool ship and used to have a cool voice (pre-DVD!). Don't get me wrong, I like Fett. I had the 12" figure as a kid and I even thought his hamming it up to the camera in the Special Edition ANH was ok. But he's still a minor character. In fact having the PT full of Fett/Clone stuff has only made Fett's "blindly swung stick" death in RotJ seem even more rediculous and him even more of a dope.

Wow, BK, how does anybody follow that? I agree 100% that Fett was overhyped. He was "the greatest bounty hunter" according to one source - "The Star Wars Holiday Special," so I guess Lucas is more in tune with the CBS Nightmare than we all originally have suspected.

And yes, I saw the YT or the MF, whichever it may have been, in the bottom right of the screen as the transport ship delivered SuperPalpy and O.B. and little orphan Annie to the senate.
