Please feel free to slap my face. However, who is getting revenge in this film? Is it Darth Sidious? I didn't notice any revenge in particular. Anakin goes nuts and kills people, but it isn't revenge, he is doing it for another reason. if it is Darth Sidious, what is he getting revenge for, and in what way?

Palpatine mention's in the very beginning of the film, that Anakin kills Count Dooku because he wanted Revenge for him cutting his arm off in AOTC. I think that the title Revenge of the Sith refers to the Sith finally rising to power after hiding for years and years, destroying the Jedi and finally ruling the galaxy.

Aha. So the Sith had previously had their asses kicked? And the rise of the Empire is their revenge; a return to power?

i don't think Anakin's revenge against Dooku can be seen as a revenge of the sith, as Anakin wasn't sith at that point. Or did you mean it was Palpatine's revenge against Dooku for cutting off Anakin's arm? Although that doesn't make much sense to me, as it is Anakin that actually does it.
