True strength does not come from how many people you kill. All that is is aggression, which could be considered by some to be power, but in reality it is not.
No matter how many jedi died, the light side was still stronger and more stable. All Yoda and Ben had to do was wait a few years and Luke Skywalker proved their point.

Having seen ROTS, I would like to withdraw my earlier vote. I'll be turning my coat and heading over to the Sith. There is some hope for their order, some possibility that debate might provide a more just organization. The Jedi Order is a rotten edifice, hiding monstrosities behind a veneer of objectivity and commitment to an arbitrary standard of "the light side". The enlightened being should be able to hear about all ways and be more and more in accord with his own.

I chose to be a Jedi, because the Sith are assigned suicide missions, like hunting down the entire Jedi order. The Jedi are a bit more peaceful about things and think things through, but are still powerful. Besides, everyone loves the Jedi, but nobody likes the Sith...

I'll go Sith. While it's interesting to see the dynamics of the Jedi as an order, I don't believe I'd enjoy the lifestyle. Anakin's rants (all too poorly done) about being held back by the Council certainly resonate with me. Also, life would be a lot more interesting if Force chokes were a regular exercise. However, odds are better I'd probably end up being a rogue/dark Jedi because I don't see myself taking on another master after I'd finished training once.

Dark Side losses through entire campaign: Maul, Dooku, Vader and the Emperor.

Light Side losses: All of them except Luke.

Maul (killed by obi-wan)
Vader (killed by emporer)
emporer (killed by vader)
Dooku (killed by vader - he may have been anikan, but it was part of his training to the dark side)

DS victories...
emporer (killed mace, the three that came with him, beat yoda and fucked up luke)
Vader (wiped out a whole generation of young jedi and cleared whoever else was in the temple, and eventually killed obi wan)
Maul (killed Quigon)

and lets not forget how many jedi were killed by robots and clone troops...
