off topic, I agree about not feeling a connection to the characters, and not particularly caring what's going on. I guess I felt a small connection with Obi Wan, but all of the situations he gets into in parts 1,2,3 I know he will survive without any real injury, so there isn't any kind of panic or anything. When Anakin got degrobulated and then set on fire, I did think that was intense, and I did connect with that to a degree, and I really think his acting in that scene was good, I felt quite convinced that it hurt and sucked, and he was angry. All other death scenes in star wars have just been dull I think, just don't care. They're not harsh enough to think 'ouch' - and feel any common sympathy, and the characters aren't deep enough for me to care anyway.
