List of Grievances

1. Far, FAR too much going on. Half the scenes were extraneous and could have been dropped in favour of making the important scenes longer. What's the point of Kashyykk, apart from giving the fanboys a glimpse of Chewie?

2. Too much CGI spacey shenangegins in place of real people acting. Think about Eps 4, 5 and 6 - they all had one climactic space battle and generally kept a lid on this stuff in the rest of the film.

3. Too little time spent on Anakin's fall, and he turned for pretty crappy reasons too.

4. Too many throwaway characters. Would the film have suffered if Grevious wasn't in it?

Why do you think Anakin`s reasons were crappy?

He was angry on Jedi, wanted more Power, while not seeking Wisdom, and Yoda told him he should accept Padme dying!

Anakin was caught in between a rock and a hard place, when he found Mace and Palpatine fighting. He had only one side to fight on. He could either fight on Mace's side (who didn't let him become a Jedi Master, when he deserved it), or Palpatine's side (the man who had faith in him, and supported Anakin's beliefs and choices). He went to Palpatine's side, helped kill Mace, and then was shocked. Only then, did he know he couldn't go back to being a Jedi: he was already stained by the death of one of their main masters. So, he had no other logical choice, but to join Palpatine, and his new imperial dream for the galaxy.

Palpatine offered so much for Anakin, when no one else was offering anything at all. It's only natural, and only human, to side with those who believe in us, and support us, and offer us more power than we already have.

Haven't seen ROTS yet, but DID he deserve it? Nothing I saw in Episodes I or II would indicate that he did. Prick would be lucky to get a custodial job.
