Honestly, I think the Mace-Anakin-Palpatine scene could have been done better!
But I really liked most of it!

I agree, the close-up facial contortions of Palpatine were too much to bare. People were actually laughing in the theatre! I just didn't have fear of Palpatine like I did from the originals. He was too vulnerable. I think it's the set design and CA backgrounds. The creepy darkness from the Bespin chamber saber dual and the ROTJ Death Star saber dual is missing.
Oh...
and the awful scene when Palpatine gets launched head first into a chair courtesy of Yoda, it's a bad stunt take from the 80's. Horrible!!!!

I think I may have spit MellowYellow on the guy in front of me when I heard this one. Whew! Talk about bad acting. I think Anakin was just as appalled as me, cause he just kinda stood there speechless.
