Chyld- Wrong. Write something short and I'll put it in the final draft if I can.
Floppy Disk- One of the reasons PA is such a scam is that they demand just about all your rights for 7 goddamn years. So, if this thread stays up its like publishing the book online and they'd be PIST. It's kind of like if I made up a song and sold it to a record company, theey'd be pissed if it was being distributed online.
I have no problem with DofL being online, but the publisher would if they found out and I dont want Cheffy getting in trouble, so the thread must be hidden.
Also, received confirmation from PA today that they received the manuscript and the author biography for Lance N. D'escimo. What this means is that they'll check out the book to see if its the right length and if it looks publishable and they'll get back to me in 2-4 weeks. Keep your fingers crossed, this is indeed the most perilous part of a most dangerous game.

I don't know about you but I have never advocated that homosexuals, for any reason, be cut out of their mother's womb and thrown into a bin.

In any event we'll always have the pride of knowing we wrote the worst novel ever, right?

Damn straight. And hey, if it doesn't go through, you could put your final edit up on Jelly Pufflemur so we can read it in all it's glory. But hopefully it won't come to that. I would love to have a printed novel version on my bookshelf.
The Green Knight, SimeSublime the Puffinesque, liker of chips and hunter of gnomes.

Sime- An excellent point, if something happens to the printing idea I'll put it all up online. I had a great gag with Slade when I told him that now that the book was finished I was going to ask him to edit into a decent novel. I think he's still hiding in a closet and rocking back and forth.

Dar! I probably won't be able to add Dark Elves in time cos I don't have regular access to the internet now. I will give it its own thread when its finished though. If it ever is.
And leeks might not just be published, it might be considered a masterpiece someday. Finnegans Wake by James Joyce is little more than a random collection of words as well, and literary critics are still wanking over that.

haha that would be interesting to see. I can imagine college professors having to draw up charts to show the relation between gramma melt, the ponies, and the convict.

And the symbolism of Pardro's continually changing name, as well as the extended metaphor of the lion being Aunt Julie. Bwahahaha.
Head Gunner for the Royal Sloop Crimson Steel, Queen of the Dead, Instigator of Chaos and Confusion, Knight of the Grand Recursive Order of the Lambda Calculus, and also The Non.
Remember Emu's face, people; one day it's going to be on the news alongside a headline about blowing some landmark to smithereens, and then we can all sigh and say, "She was such a normal person".....
....We'd be lying though.
