he enters through the door in my version, right?
then when he tell them about his hook, he let them see it
BUT he found it cut-in-pieces, easy ain't it?

That makes no sense. Who cut it? And if you say 'A ghose! wooooo! WOOOOO!', I'll sic Jane on you. (kidding)

But YZ, what did happen to Trilby's grappling hook?

They very same thing which entraped them inside the house..
You're free to call *it* any name
but it's a GHOST , anyways. DeFoe is GHOST, YZ knows it's ghost, y'know it's ghost
me know it's ghost (kidding)
ehm,.If you found "ghost" is silly, then the whole game is silly cuz it's the same concept
like,..while he's being attacked the ghost misses him but cut his pocket and injure his leg
etc. etc. bla bla

OR simply, Trilby lost/forgot his hook that's why he entered through the door..
and in-game, he finds a robe to use instead of hook, or forge one robe+knife
ANYTHING...

Jst some MINOR changes would do it guyz, honestly

Yea, there are:
Alien
Aliens
Aliens 3
Alien:Resurrection
ALIEN 5
Alien vs Predator

Serisously, Alien 5. You even put it in capitals. I haven't heard of it before, it's not on www.imdb.com, and it's not AvP as you listed that.
The Green Knight, SimeSublime the Puffinesque, liker of chips and hunter of gnomes.

The difference between what you're proposing and what YZ created is your's can do anything without a body. YZ's spirit had to posess someone's body before he could do anything. Except for controlling the house. Since the house was where he lived and died, he has a strong connection to the house, and can control what goes on there, like locking doors, and keeping windows from breaking.

That doesn't make any sense. A master theif would not ever lose such a valuable peice of equiptment.

1: Alright, then the spirit possesed anyone of them, tried to attacked Trilby while he's asleeping, but he heard the noise, woke up and used his hook to deflect the slash, the sword (or whatever) deflected and cut the robe attached to the hook..

2: When Jim freaks out the first time he sees Trilby, he try to attack him with a knife.
Trilby guard himself by holding the hook-robe, Jim cuts the robe then Trilby remove the mask and say it's ok i'm a human..

3: The hook screwed hard while Trilby got into the house, and they won't be able to re-use it again, this is the best one I got so far..

4: Trilby got through the door cuz THIS IS his way, and the players won't complain

5: alien.gif ALIEN 5 alien.gif

btw, they could've just climbed each other's shoulder to jumb through the garden fence, I mean it's low, YZ should have higher it..

Wait, I forgot. He uses it later in the game to get to the locked room. It made no sense that he couldn't use it on the tree to get out from the house.

Wasn't there a cliff over the fence, so they couldn't get out that way?
