1)We're not talking about 'rogue' planets, but members of the Republic. 2) How can they have been seriously 'battle-tested' when there haven't been any wars? 3) I have indeed 'whined' about this very issue in another thread. 4) Clearly you care, or you wouldn't bother to argue about it.

The sandpeople had women and children. We know this because Anakin killed them how could he tell? The children might be smaller but I never saw a sandperson with breasts. Did they hike their skirts and show him some leg or something?

Also, I can see the point of wanting to kidnap a human and use her as a slave, but they didn't. They tied her to a flimsy easel for a month. It's assumed they had to feed and give her water. What for? Was she purely ornamental? I can understand them wanting the droids, you can sell those for a lot of money, but a chick who's only skills are finding non-existand mushrooms and getting randomly pregnant, you're not going to get much.

1) I know there members of the Republic, but how do they know those commanders have the interest of the Republic in mind rather than there own planets or selvs. 2) there haven't been in any major wars but i'm sure they've had SOME battles here and there. And since there is NO other official republican troops the highest ranking people have to be the Jedi. 3+4) I'm not caring about the issue, i'm saying why are YOU guys caring. this is such a small tidbit its insane. The same goes for why people call Han or Luke captains and what not in the prequels even though they have done butcass.

1) What difference could such 'interests' make when they're leading the Republic's army against the clones? Whatever these interests may be, they could hardly be served by the collapse of the Republic. 2) Yoda says that the Jedi are peacekeepers, not soldiers, and that 'we cannot fight a war for you'. If there haven't been any major wars then their duties have presumably been confined to peacekeeping, which is hardly good preparation for leading a defence force against a powerful invading army. 3/4) If you really don't care then why are you bothering to argue about it? If someone brings up an issue I find unimportant, I either ignore the discussion altogether or just shrug and say 'who cares?' No one is forcing you to participate in this discussion, any more than they're forcing you to stay on this forum when it obviously annoys you so much.
