Found these a LONG while back then remebered them tonight in my sleep deprived stuper.

Well here you go, much like the laws of phisics, these rules appear everywhere and cannot be broken. Ever.

Heh, I guess they only really applies to console games, but it's still amusing. Reminds me of the 'how to survive a console RPG' article we printed last year.

I want to go back to the films of the 80's, where plots were simple, and explosions happened regularly....

I quite liked it. Though most of it was pointing out the obvious.

But it is, really. The plot is the computers version of the DM. I love it's irrational power.

Yeah I know. DMs, computer or otherwise, always has some irrational source of power that they use in a way that makes absolutely no sense.

Oh and here are two he forgot

1. Take everything that isn’t nailed down

2 If it is nailed down it just means that it is that much more important to your quest, get a crowbar.
