I did not make that petition, actually. The only bad thing about putting the link in my signature is having people think that I'm the one that started it, when this most deffinatly is not the case. I am just supporting their cause.

I have no desire to see the Japanese version. Even if I did, it would be hard for me to get my hands on a version of it, because I have no clue what website I would go to, to find it.

As far as other movie editions go, There are people who burn DVDs off onto their computer and alter them themselves, and then sell them to people. These would probably be the only cleaned bootlegged versions worth downloading. And yes, I have indeed given Lucas enough of my money, sadly. So misfortunate, we are.

I don't understand that. I said it's as close to the DVD version of Star Wars as you hope will be released by lucas.

It's not in Japanese or anything. People who's 'found it' just burn it without the Japanese subtitles.

The resolution is only slightly lower than what's found on a DVD and the audio is identical.

But again.... the real thing to hope for is the original on HD-DVD or Blu-Ray whichever format becomes the next Hi Def standard.

I was under the impression that it was in Japanese. But since it is not, I will look into it. Maybe. When I have time.

IMO that's not cool to post spoilers. You should put 'SPOILER' at the top of your post if you do.

I read the RotS book and I don't think you're quite right on this point anyway but to say more I'd have to talk about a film almost no one here's seen yet.

hey, sorry if i gave any spoilers away that weren't in the ROTS book you read.

"you will be given a seat on this council, but we do not grant you the rank of master" is a line that is delivered by mace windu in the theatrical trailer - the same one that's been all over the web/tv/theatres... so it's not news or a spoiler.

Great job of standing up for yourself, littlejerryseinfeld. This is not a spoiler, because it is open to the public, and even came on TV. you could be sitting there, and watch it on accident, and it wouldn't spoil anything.

I hadn't seen the trailer. But then I don't watch trailers as they tend to show the most dramatic biggest action parts which tend to be spoilers.

That doesn't make your spolier not a spolier it just makes yet another spoiler but I'd say 99% of the blame goes then to the spoiler in the trailer.

I wasn't complaing for my own sake but for the sake of others. I said I read the book so you can't spoil anything for me personally. Any key thing in the flick was in the book from all I've read from people who've seen it already.

As I said I would correct something you said but I'd have to spoil a plot point to correct you.

Then again.... if people are hanging out on a SW forum right before they see RotS then they should expect spoliers I suppose.

I would like to say that

Anakin is still not a great star pilot. So he lands a blown out half star cruiser. He says they're all dead but the movie gives us no reason to see that it was a difficult task. The fireships aren't worried.

Second of all, he was a shitty fighter pilot. He makes several poor decisions and points them out to Obi-Wan, who is shouting advice at him the whole time. Advice Anakin ignores.
