Wrath of Khan definitely, but there are some stupid things in it. I use to be crazy about Star Trek, but it has sunk so low that I've realized a lot of his utter garbage. The original series about the only real good things worth looking at.
Flying Ferret

Battle for the Galaxy--read the "other Star Wars"

All I know is I haven't seen the real prequels yet.

I know next to nothing about Star Trek, compared to many of you. Or at least that is my theory. For you Trekkies on the forum, what is your favorite Star Trek movie/episode/series?

FIRST CONTACT!

Wrath of Khan is second but it is so hard to go past First Contact on all aspects. I'm not really a Trekkie but I have seen all the movies and a good portion of all the TV series.

It is very hard to go past a fired up Data respondng to the "resistence is futile" mantra of the Borg. Oh and yeah - the Borg Queenis all that!

Man-o-man. I loved Voyage Home simply for its originallity and humor. It was truely a blast. It has to be number 1. I'm kinda embarrased to admit it but my second favorite is V: the final frontier. I was born in '86 and it has this retro-80's feel that makes me strangely nostalgiac. The music is soothing too. I cant help but love the relationship b/t kirk spock and mccoy in this one. I know i know its garbage and an utter ego-maniacle attempt by shatner but ill have a place for it in my heart.

I'm a fan of First Contact. I liked the earlier TOS movies some, but the next generation cast really does it for me, so First Contact is a shoe in.

On a side note, I kind of liked the whale one. It was just really funny! Did you know that scene with the nuclear wessels was filmed on a regular street corner with normal people? He just went up to normal people and asked them where the Nucleur Wessels were! It was awesome.

Nemesis was kind of weak in a lot of parts, but did make up for it by having a massive fight scene at the end, in my opinion.

Insurrection was kind of like a long Star Trek: TNG episode than a real movie in my opinion, and is pretty decent if viewed from that angle.

And Generations I liked.

The TOS movies ranged from very good to kind of boring in my opinion.

Also, I wish they'd make a DS9 movie, because that would totally rule. Sure, the last episode really tidied everything up and sent everyone packing, but hey, if they are willing to give it a shot, Im willing to watch it!

I liked the first movie. IT was one of the first movie's I can remeber along side DUNE. I recall that openining scene when the klingons ship get's vaporized, man that always freaked me out. I was really young keep in mind. I still don't remember why Lenard Nimoy flowed around in that array of color, but whatever.

The Humpback Whale one I also enjoyed. It's a bit hacky but I still enjoyed it.

Wrath of Kahn was also cool, the ear worms and all.

First Contact.

Beings a Star Wars and a Who I just didn't really get into original trek where all the aliens looked like humans, but the borg were very effective.

I liked all of the newer ones except the one with the Young People Planet... What was that called? Insurrection? That seemed like a 2 hour long TNG episode that could have been shown in only one hour.

Most people hated nemesis, but I rather liked it.

First Contact was great.

Generations was pretty funny.

As for the old ones, I like the Wrath of Khan and I also like the silly one about the Whales.

Star Trek V (directed by Shatner, I believe) is the only movie that's totally horrid--seeing Takei's rather attractive daughter was the only reason I'd wade throught that dreck again.
