I think it's generally understood that most new forum users--on any message board, not just this one--are annoying at first, and usually sink into the swing of things after a month or two.  Hell, if one were to look back on the old L&E and FR forums, I'm sure that I'd look like an annoying little psycophant at first before I gradually lost interest in impressing everyone else who was there.  Once I turned into the hollowed husk of a man who you all know and fear now, I'm sure I came across as a slightly less irritating person.  Meantime, however, I think Big Stiffy or whatever the hell his name is will fit in fine eventually, he, like another newer user, just needs to get his initial over-enthusiasm out of his system.
