Slade my man...

BEST. EDIT. EVER.

If only Heccubus had done that to me instead of tearing the sex thread down. Can you imagine what the stories would have ended up looking like?

I twisted and turned IN A COMPLETELY NON-SEXUAL WAY as the COMPLETELY NON-SEXUAL FEELING grew, starting in my belly, slowly crawling down, just about to reach my KITTEN, to make me explode in a furious, intense COMPLETELY NON-SEXUAL PLEASANT FEELING--the most intense of my life.

BWA HA HA!!!

If I had done it, it would have been like the best Madlib ever.

Kirbs, my man, it's spelled "marijuana." You'll look like you don't know anything about drugs if you keep spelling it wrong.

I've even heard that some of the drug reports the government releases are actually false or very poorly done "experiments". I saw something on quite possibly PBS saying that ecstasy doesn't actually burn holes in your brain like they said it did. Not that I'd want to do it anyway, it's just an example. Does anybody else know stuff like that and how true it is?

Cocaine is fairly reliably ascribed the ability to eat away at the insides of the nose and turn your septum into something that isn't there... and there's still those disquieting rumours that heavy dosages of marijuana can cause a fatlike substance to develop in your brain cavity... still both are way short of tobacco - as chewing tobacco can burn a hole through your cheek, snuff can eat away at your septum like nobody's business and snoose can carve a path from your mouth to your brain.
Also, large amounts of smoke inhalation - marijuana, tobacco or just plain old smoke can render someone sterile.

I've never heard about smoke causing sterility, but since our brains are made up of fat, that Mary Jane thing doesn't sound very bad. It's also something I've neverheard before either.

And sometimes they pick a fight with a garage door while drunk - strange sight, strange fight. Incidentally the door won - honestly, MJ turns people into harmless stoners with munchies 9 times out of 10, while tobacco floats around in the air and is worse for everyone within a pretty big radius and drunks are quite happy to take the nearest argument to its illogical conclusion and throw up on the pavement for an encore. We have screwed priorities.

well i'm from holland, living in indonesia since 1996, used to work in coffeeshops for years and growing grass for a living many years too. in holland you can just go to a coffeeshop and buy grass and hash, usually the have a menu and man do i miss my joints... here in indonesia, forget it!!! it used to be a smokers heaven but not anymore, got caught 2 years ago with some grass, set up they tortured the guy i bought from for years so he gave me up and i can't even blame him seeing the put screws in his face... they knocked out one thooth because i managed to escape but got caught later again and that shit cost me 3500 euro's and i was actually really lucky normally for a foreigner to not go to jail the going price is about 15.000 euro's plus at least 4 months in jail, i was out in about 12 hours. luckely too i got out before 12 o'clock at night because at 12 the "journalists" come with their camera's and you have to pay them what you pay the pigs or they'll put you on tv the next day and then you don't get out.... funny thing is, it's the cops selling it!!! all dealers these days are working for them... torture is commonplace here even for just one joint or a positive urine test and i know kids that died under torture. the cops doing the torture are mostly high on christal meth (which i hate)... one of my best friends here was murdered by them, he got caught and they kept coming for money till he just couldn't pay no more, he was a foreigner too but his bad luck was that he was a black guy from kenya and the cops hate blacks here, i helped washing his body and carried him... you might be able to imagine how much i hate these thugs that call themselves police here...
in holland things are also getting less free since the christen democrats took power, many many coffeshops have closed down, new rules like around schools no shops for a few 100 meters so most of them have to close, also police razzia's where they check peoples identitypapers and many many other really ridiculous rules, i could go on and on and on....
anyways, no they are discussing legalising in indonesia that will never happen ofcourse the cops are making crazy money the way things are and the islamo fascists are also making crazy noise about all this...
haven't smoked a joint here since all that stuff happened and won't do it no more either here, only when i'm back home lah....

Marijuana seems to cause schizophrenia. Technically, psychologists are only allowed to say that it increases the chance people already at risk of getting bipolar disorders of getting it, but I've seen the numbers from a few different studies, and they all point to the same thing.

And you know this... how? unsure.gif

Seriously, I've never tried; I'm underage. Also, during the 6th grade, I was immersed in a little program called D.A.R.E. It's all propaganda, sure, but it still scared the shit out of my classmates. ohmy.gif

I know mostly from a six-month research project that culminated in trying to read studies in Swedish. At this point I gave up and decided that I'll stick to saying it causes schizophrenia, and if anyone disagrees, they can go learn Swedish.

Never used it or any drug myself. I don't even like taking aspirin.

there was some antidrug campaign a while ago, I think against LSD, that went, "look! LSD puts holes in your brain!!!", complete with normal-brain and LSD-brain pictures from like an MRI or something, where the LSD brain had numerous large, gaping black holes, and the normal brain didn't. what the advert didn't tell you, however, was that the pictures were measures of blood flow, not brain matter. so yeah, of course pretty much any change in the state of your system is going to cause blood to flow to specific parts of your brain. woo propaganda.

Remember Emu's face, people; one day it's going to be on the news alongside a headline about blowing some landmark to smithereens, and then we can all sigh and say, "She was such a normal person".....

That reminds me of people in permanent vegetative states, where huge amounts of brain tissue dies off, leaving one with gaping black holes on an MRI. ohmy.gif
