I am waiting for the Server version but I'll see if I can get a trial copy first.
Could you let me know what build your copy is?

Okay, just like the later Longhorn builds, I saw that the menu's were locked down under the buttons and no way to move it upwards, which is irritating to me. Wondering if it is configurable to that build?

I just hope it is, with all the classic skins.

I have been wondering why they chose the name Longhorn.
This is my conclusion for now:

Perhaps they were going to call desktops that as well, until decided:
"How long do you want your horn?"

I mean't that as the codename in general, like how they renamed Windows .net due to the confusion, but why they chose the name.

Found what I was looking for:

http://en.wikipedia....indows_Longhorn

So you have Beta 1 fork.

I have a Vista skin or two for use with WindowBlinds and I don't even like the look of it. But then again, I hated XP the first time I saw it too. Going on four years of using nothing but now.

Vista looks like, Bill Gate took Linux, Tiger OX X, and bastardised them with Window's images. Nothing is at all different than what Linux and Mac have been doing for the past however many years...

Billy's number one target, leading back to committing bigamy with Apple and IBM.
In this case, "Billy could not go for the "Linux" so he eats an "Apple" and goes after the Tiger".

Well I did have mouse problems with accuracy in Windows XP, as it is done on a mouse curve based in registry. When adjusted does not feel the same as before. Did not notice on build 4008 though. Do you notice any changes to mouse accuracy on your copy of Vista?

Vista looks interesting, but it's going to take a while to get used to.

But I'll bet they'll include options so that you can lay out the screen in the 'classic' style, like Windows XP did.
PRECIOUS VELIUS....
