I thought about posting this in the Screening Room. In time, I will. If I find that this gets enough nods. This is something that was never put in the movies. It transcends something that could never have happened, because the damage was already done.

Han didn't survive the carbonite. His last words, were 'I know'. That was his character... I wouldn't have him die any other way.

Luke and Leia ended up falling in love. Though, with much pain. Leia was still haunted by her short-lived love with Han.

The Wookies helped the Rebel Alliance on Endor. They fought with high-tech weapons.

Luke found his sister, Lashra, helping in the fight against the Empire. She lived on a human colony on Endor. It was she, along with Chewy, that destroyed the Death Star.

Yoda did not die until years later. He even helped train the children of Luke and Leia in the ways of the Force.

All people dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their mind wake in the day to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous people, for they may act their dream with open eyes and make it possible.

-T.E. Lawrence

One major beef i had with the EU and PT were the ridiculous names. I'm not criticizing Lashra or anything like that, but if you look at the OT, Luke, Leia, and Ben are normal, western names. Only Han is foreign, and its still an Earth name, just not western. Wedge and Biggs seemed like last names or nicknames, even though we know know they're not. Only when you introduce Lando, Mon Mothma, and Crix Nadine do you get really unusually names. Now we have to deal with absolutely ridiculous shit like "Shmi" and Mace and Qui-Gon and Padme.

to quote a well known flash viedo "Dubya-tee-eff, mayt?"

smile.gif Aye,thanks. I will keep dreaming. That it is.

""Only when you introduce Lando, Mon Mothma, and Crix Nadine do you get really unusually names. ""

Lashra could very well just be her nickname.

No offense but Lashra kinda sounds like the name of a porn starlet. The other stuff is good though.

For some strange reason, I cannot edit the post. Perhaps it is because I have already edited it. I have officially changed her name to 'Leena'. This is what she will go by when this is added-onto and reposted the Screening Room.

Lashra is obviously the daughter (or perhaps the feminine persona) of Lash LaRue.

Killing off Han is a good idea, as is Wookies instead of Ewoks. Not sure about the last two.

Well, the biggest thing I was thinking, is how Vader is going to try and get Luke to Palpatine, when he knows the carbon freezing isn't going to work.

I never minded Luke and Leia being siblings... but maybe the way it is revealed could be changed?

Yoda living on would provide a much more stable master for the new jedi order, so I'd say that's a good idea.

I don't like the "Lashra" ideas at all, both with her being Luke's sister and her being on Endor. Too coincedental, me thinks. Of course, Luke and Leia being siblings is even worse in that aspect, but whatever.

Yeah, sorry I don't have more insights...
