That is why I wouldn't be a jedi, nor a sith because of their verulent behavior. I would be something in-between.

Changing the course on the topic a little.

I would've liked ROTJ better if:

1) Luke WAS the son of Vader, that is, Luke isn't Luke SKYWALKER, but Luke VADER. This absolutely does not contradict a single thing in ESB. No where does anyone say, "Darth Vader you're [I'm] Anakin Skywalker," and even the Emperor's words, "Skywalker must not be allowed to become a Jedi" would make sense as he [the Emperor] does not know that Luke is Vader's son, and Vader is obviously not telling.

2) Could still maintain the Luke wants to save his father aspect, and senses good in him.

3) Obi-Wan would not be a liar. He would not have known that Luke was Vader's son and that he was actually protecting Skywalker's child from his mortal enemy.

4) We could still maintain the "other" aspect as after Luke discovers he's not a Skywalker, people are going to wonder, "Who's the real Skywalker," which would/could still be Leia, but thankfully not Luke's sister.

5) Once Luke figures it out (and I wouldn't have had it so soon in the beginning---let Luke figure it out while they're battling the Empire), it becomes more important to him to protect her, the last (hope) Child of Skywalker.

6) Still would be revelant during the Throne room battle scene when Vader figures it out and threatens to turn her.

Anyway, I think about these things too much. Thought I'd just get that out there and purge my system of it all...

Nice Purge.

Maybe Luke's sister could be named "Ella"?
