I found this pretty reliable site that has a GL interview. If you read closely, you will see many references to a NEW sequel trilogy.

George Lucas: I’m not sure exactly when auditions for Episode 7 will begin. It could be as early as 2010 or perhaps much later. It depends on how successful the Star Wars TV shows are. We will be casting unknown actors for the major acting roles in the sequels.
It does seem that the new generation of film makers are of lower quality than some of the ones I broke into the business with. It is sad that our country is not producing educated people. We have a bunch of dunces running around with film cameras. They should be serving soup at the Salvation Army and not making major motion pictures.

Do you really want to make Episodes 7, 8 and 9?
George Lucas: Absolutely not. I’m finished making Star Wars films. However, Shadow wants to continue making them. It will take perfect conditions for me to green light the next trilogy. First, Revenge of the Sith will have to be the biggest box-office hit of 2005. Second, the Star Wars TV shows will have to be produced and ready for broadcast. Finally, I will need a five year break before I even come close to considering working on Episode 7. Let’s be honest. Episode 7 may never happen. If it happens, you will all have Shadow to thank for it. He is the driving force behind Star Wars. I decided to make Star Wars TV shows based on ideas formulated by Shadow. He is a very brilliant and clever guy. I owe him so much.

He seems obsessed with his child Shadow, who apparently wrote the script for TPM, and made the character for Jar Jar Binks.
Actually, I'm not totally sure what this is all about. Can anyone make anything of this?
