Using my l33t gay stylist teachings I can saftly say that for your body type a peircing would not be to wise. But then again, I am just using that old photo with the GBA. Still, I would discurage it.
A tatoo does sound nify though.

You're confusing Slade with Chyld.
Smoking with oral piercings won't make any difference in the effects of the habit once the pierce is healed. During the healing, you're simply supposed to rinse the pierce with peroxide and water, which kills off any bacteria gathering around the area from the cigarette.

I personally don't like most peircings. Earrings are fine, navels I can accept, but tounge/lip/nose/brow etc all make a person look worse.

Well, having talked to everyone up here about it, and popping here quickly, I think its safe to say its all about the left nose for now. A lip piercing would create too much hassle on the off-chance I wanted to use my lip.
And no, I can't see the appeal in a tounge piercing, apart from a few stories concerning ice cubes. And don't get me started on ear plugs...
On the tattoo front, I've wanted one for years now, but now I'm old enough, I've put on a shitload of weight. So if I get one now, whether I lose or gain mass, it'd look pretty fucking stupid. Maybe I'll get my arm inked in the near future.

Well, I did have a look at some today, and I'm thinking I'd like something inspired by Henry Skull. Y'know, a take on him by someone who can actually draw properly. Because lets be honest, if I just had the Skull straight on as he is, it'd be fucking boring.

Apparently long hair and beanies are a staple of the forum. But I'll let you know I laughed when I read your post at first because I thought you took Chyld's picture, used one of those old GameBoy cameras to scan it onto your GBA, and then drew in a piercing on it to see what it would look like.
Then I realized that you were thinking of that pic of me. Like I've said, I dislike nose and lip rings, though studs can be cool. But I've never been able to find any sort of piercing that would fit me. And to each his/her own and what-not. WE DEMAND PICTURES!
