I love the subtle changes you make to the plot of the PT. It's daring, but still respectful of the original script, and its clear to see that THIS is how the Prequels should have been.
Also, I love the part where Qui Gon's light saber is all like "FZZZT!"

I don't know about you but I have never advocated that homosexuals, for any reason, be cut out of their mother's womb and thrown into a bin.

I was going to leave personal comments aside until i'd finished it, but oh well...
I wanted to see if I could strip TPM down to its barest elements, then just draw that. its actually quite hard to come up with ways to link the scenes using almost no dialogue. The trick is to break the whole film into its major components and use a rough 1 event=1 page ratio.
You might notice that i've cut out Jar Jar. Not because I hate the guy, but I can save myself the hassle of going to Otah Gunga etc. etc. and just pull something else out of my hat at the end. who knows where it'll go?
heh heh. I know what you mean. Its hard drawing with a mouse! you'll probably only be able to distinguish characters by their haircuts. I kind of like my hammy Darth Sidious though. Fight scenes will be hard too.
I'm not sure what its supposed to be either. I think i'm just honestly trying to see how far I can strip the plot and still have it make (some kind of) sense.
yes i'm just like Ben Snow. Except...uh...poor.
I used "to make our invasion", but thinking about it, your line works better! ah well.
*beep*beep
EDIT- for the record, 'camp Qui-Gon' was unintentional

Edit: Obi-Wan looks like a dwarf/troll. I like him like that.

Though I still don't know what Jariten's thing is supposed to be... is it a parody, is it a praise, is it something someone else knocked up while he left his computer unattended... I don't know.

This is the best remake of the prequels yet! Bellisimo, Jariten! Encore! Your prequel rewrite is number one! All others are number two or lower!

I just adore the "you will sign a treaty that will make our invasion legal!" line

Grah! I want that treaty signed! HAHA! Pretty much how it goes. You have done a pretty good job at going to it's basic elements. Maybe this will let people see TPM for themselves what TPM is really trying to pull off.

I think that, at its heart, TPM is a solid story that Lucas sadly chose to weigh down with several unnessesary elements- the taxation thing being the main one.
A kid dreams of escape from the drudgery of his life and one day wizards turn up and whisk him away to adventure with spaceships and damsels in distress.
Doesnt that sound like Star Wars?
