I'm in the market for my first MP3 player, but i'm totally baffled by the choice, weighing up the pros vs. cons etc. So...
What can you recommend? what are you using now? ipod? creative zen? is the software easy to use? did it explode a week after you bought it? etc.
Any advice will be welcomed with open arms!

Personally, I'm fine with an MP3 CD player. The iPod's battery life is abysmal, and it only gets worse if you use it a lot. While I do miss mine, that was one major problem that I had.

I've got a Zen Micro coming in the post, and God willing it'll be here sometime this year. Zen totally owns iPod on anty day of the week.
