Really glad you enjoyed it, Emu. Do you have any ideas for a better ending?

The ending's usually the most difficult part. I'll give it some thought though.

Actually....I dunno, I liked Henry's line about the dishwasher's fortress of solitude and not being able to get to the filet mignon, maybe if you switched things around a bit so that the play ends with that?

Ha read it all in a day. It is very good indeed, and sheds some light on the depth of society and people in general. The ending was anti-climatic, but there is an unexplainable niftyness to it. Something only people who have been or are in long term relationships would truly understand.
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

Which is funny, because my first and only long term romance began when I gave a girl a stuffed kitten and ended when I wouldnt let her ride my bike about a year later. But it was totally her fault, who asks a guy to ride his bike when he's only just gotten the training wheels off? That's my time woman, and if you can't respect that I'll kick yo ass to the curb!

Unless I am mistaken, why does it seem a lot of the men here have so much women trouble? Of course, my girlfriend and I both happen to be kind of crazy so I guess that makes a bit of a difference.

Woot woot! I was searching for grant money to fritter away when I found a competition for Appalachian playwrites. I Can Do Better is now in said competition so wish me luck.
