Anakin isn't mature and isn't even creepy!

Naturally it got cut b/c GL is a dumbass.

Well of course there were continuity problems with the scene. You know how detail-driven Lucas is.

Anakin's "My heart is in agony" rubbish was pretty grating on the nerves.

Ep I: "Are you an angel?"

I can't think of two worse lines than those two. Not sure which I'd consider worse though. That's a tough call.

Everyone surely must know that "poodoo" is just Lucas's lamebrained substitute for "s**t!" I might have bought the "fodder" translation the first couple of times but when Sebulba exclaims "Poodoo!" after wiping out in the pod race can we doubt for a second that he isn't saying "S**t!"

Hm, more nominations for bad lines. How about, "This is a democracy! The people have decided!" from Episode I. It's not a terrible line in itself but the context makes it bad: Lucas sets up Naboo as a monarchy but, I guess, was afraid that his viewers wouldn't accept a monarchy's being one of the Good Guys. So he throws in that "this is a democracy!" line and thus with four words leaves us with the paradox of a queen who is nevertheless the leader of a popularly elected government.

Any line in the AotC speeder chase between Anakin and Obi-Wan will do. I cringe in horror whenever Lucas is trying to be funny.

However, the worst lines have to be put into context to really pack a punch. The one that pained and insulted me the most is probably this little gem:

"Thank you R2-D2. Padme, clean this droid up the best you can. It deserves our gratitude."

And yes, it still hurts...

The part during the arena scene in AOTC where Anakin is like "blah blah blah" and Amidala is like "no, agressive negotations".

Followed by smug looks by both.

Let me propose that "I've got a bad feeling about this" has become one of the worst lines. It was good at first but, starting with ROTJ, Lucas began to overuse it. It's used twice in Episode II (I had to verify that by looking at an AOTC script.) As someone else pointed out here, "I've got a bad feeling about this" was originally used in situations where danger was not obvious. He used it in that sense in Episode I but was too obvious about it. In Episode II (and ROTJ) Lucas seems like he just throws in the line for a laugh.

Also Lucas has been using "be mindful of your feelings" too much.

But we must be mindful of our feelings, otherwise we'll develop an infatuation for a planetary senator who was nice to us when we were nine and we'll flirt with her when we're supposed to be protecting her, tell her she's softer than sand, get married, have kids and oh we weren't mindful of our feelings.

How about Anakin's "Stay with me, mom..." as she's dying in his arms. That's pretty bad.

ALMOST FORGOT!

When Anakin is moving the fruit around in the air and he says, "Master Obi-Wan would be VERY grumpy if he saw me doing this..." or whatever.
