I only just now realized that Chewbacca is grabbing Leia's boob. I always just thought it was the two of them making silly faces for no reason. I can't decide if that new element makes me like the pic more or less.

Here are two more of the good ones:
I just love this one. I think I have a thing for behind the scenes Bespin shots.
A great shot of Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill wandering through the deserts of Tunisia. Most people would be drawn to the metal bikini if it weren't for that FRIGGIN' SHIRT Mark Hamill is wearing.

Actually, it's Yuma where that was shot, not Tunisia.
Just a little ancedote from me. I worked with this great guy who was the closest person I had ever met who was like the ESB Yoda, but as soon as I found he was from Tunisia--I said, you're from the greatest country in the world, and he replied, "Why do you say that?" "Because that's where they shot Star Wars."
He looked at me blankly...
"What's Star Wars?"
Oh, I never laughed so hard. So, I had to tell him all about it, and he sounded pretty excited about seeing, especially if his own country was used as a backdrop. I never did find out if he saw it or not because I quit the job a week later.... Oh well... I do hope he saw it.

Battle for the Galaxy--read the "other Star Wars"
All I know is I haven't seen the real prequels yet.

It's really eerie to read it - "fans twenty years from now worrying about the colour quality" - he meant us!
And poor Gary having no faith in computers. I suppose that the reality of using computers in films has surpassed even his expectations.
I don't know, I've read somewhere that for the ROTS they did't build a single set. I think it's sad.

Here is a link to a great piece in English Guardian

There is more, I am just reading it - great insight into how Lucas's mind is working.

QUOTE
The irony is that a really gifted writer was right there on set. Carrie Fisher went on to write several memoirs that showed a sharp wit, an ear for language and an eye for the absurd. Only one of these qualities can have been learnt from her time on Star Wars.
Really? Just makes the trash we received that much more pathetic.

Here are some more from my private* collection:
Another great Han & Lando shot.
This is a cut scene from ANH where their plan is to simply walk through the Death Star and try to blend in. This was when Lucas still surrounded himself with people who weren't afraid to tell him when an idea was too stupid to work.
A cut scene from ESB where Luke tries out for the Echo Station Players' performace of The Phantom of the Opera. Sadly he's edged out of the role by Major Bren Derlin. This scene was cut for time and the plot didn't seem to suffer too greatly from its loss.
A not so flattering pic of Carrie Fisher from Return of the Jedi in her Endor duds.
A much more flattering pic of Carrie Fisher laughing on the set of Return of the Jedi.
Harisson ford as Han solo in the classic unorthodox blaster stance.
For the guys we have Princess Leia's metal bikini. For the ladies: a made up scene where Han Solo is in some speedos.
This is an odd pic that was on the cover of Rolling Stone.
Hope you all enjoy that installment. Sadly all my old authentic articles (like Despondent has) are locked somewhere in my parents' basement.
*And by private I mean, of course, pics that I've taken the trouble to right-click and "save as..." from other websites.
