Who/what is Greivous? Seriously? He doesn't look like a Neimodian, so what's his bloody connection to them? Did he get promoted to Droid Commander the same way Jar Jar got promoted to general?

A lot of this shit just doesn't add up!!!

i think you'll find none of this shit adds up.

and i still think he's the guy that tried to kill Jar jJar in Episode 1.
he sounds like him, he looks like him, he even kind of moves like him.
after he crashed racing anikan the doctors put him back together and he entered the miliatary... swearing to kill all jedi to get revenge on them for cheating at pod racing!!!

let's compare...

Sebulba.

and Grevous

think about it...
granted, there is some major physical differences there...
but the skin arounf the eyes... the accent....
the accident... hmmmm....
(sorry i could find better pix to proove my outlandish accusation)

"Icon of Evil?!?"

*Irritated sigh*

Wasn't Vader suppose to be the "icon of evil?"

I hate this character more and more as I get to "know" him.

Not to poke a hole in your balloon, but Sebulba looked like he didn't get a scratch at the end of the race----btw, what a wimp-out!!! Why save this character anyway!?

Unless, of course, you're right. wink.gif

someone at work just pointed that out...
(you'll have to forgive me, i haven't watched phantom menace that much - for some reason). thumbsup.gif

but, he was a pod racer and could have had an accident later....

i suggested it for fun... but we know what lucas is like.

grevous has as much chance of being subulba as he does of being anikans dad...
and let's face it... that's probably quite high!

I think Lucas had Sebulba survive for the sole reason that he didn't want to make Annie look bad by killing someone in the race.

Also, Gen. Grievous, or at least his head and face, looks to me to have been modelled after an insect. "Icon of evil", indeed. He's just going to be another Maul, showing up in a few scenes, snarling and looking bad ass (or trying to), only to be killed. Maybe he's going to push a crippled woman in a wheelchair down a flight of stairs (a la Richard Widmark in Kiss of Death - now there's your icon of evil.)

xenduck here, testing some new waters, been reading the posts, though i havent read them all(cause im a lazy bstrd), so im sorry if this has been brought up... i just got back from the convention, you know, the STAR WARS convention. anyway, i believe that sound bite came from there. i dont think thats exactly what he'll sound like in the flick. matt woods was just making stuff up on spot, not quoting dialouge. i dont think GL would let him do that. for example, he also said, for the audience, "would you like fries with that?" so lighten up a little!
and by the way, i may be mistaken, but if grievous sounds like sebulba, its probably cause matt wood is his voice too; along with other characters.

oh ya, i saw that. i think its a good bit of creative thinking.
(oh god, i hope its not true!)
i meant for people criticizing the dialouge to 'lighten-up'. then again, maybe the dialouge will be bad, it happens. but we dont know yet!
