I am still quite pleased with the shows Samurai Jack and Samurai Champloo. Invader Zim is pretty good too.

Invader Zim for the win, even though it's the Vasquez I like the least. His other stuff is oh so much more fun.

Paranoia Agent was excellent as well, I don't judge Anime much as a whole, I like it for how sincere anime is and the fact that I've seen Hentai with better plots than Hollywood films. Video Girl Ai is the most amazing Anime I've ever laid my eyes upon, and that's simply for the supreme characterization and plot.

Haven't watched must animation though, most of what I see I dislike greatly like Drawn Together, Naruto and various others. Batman, the old awesome series is like in limbo between good and bad. The new one is plain awful. Batman Beyond was shite. The JLA is crap, didn't enjoy anything I've seen of that, except for the show where Superman fucks a lot of shit up and fights some kid that can call for lightnings and crap, for no apparent reason.

Should we throw in the direct to DVD animated adaptation of the Ultimate Avenger comics?

... I don't know, it was pretty good alright, but not that special. I'd say that I saw a couple of animes that were better, although I could only name Air - The 1000th Summer and Honey and Clover right now.

YOU LIAR!

Well, maybe not. What it did that just blew me away was the fact that it summed up, love. And I'd never seen that before nor have I ever before. And thus it's my favoritest thing ever.

Actually I enjoyed these quite a bit... a lot more than recent live action super hero movie things... happy.gif

I admit these animated Ultimate Avengers were superior to the live action film adaptations of Daredevil, Elektra, and the Fantastic Four.

... say... does anyone remember Jem? 'twas somewhere around 1989 or so, if I remember correctly... I'm still not sure what to think of it, but maybe some of you are of the opinion that it kicks arse. biggrin.gif

Other than that I can pretty much get along with anyone ;)
