Yeah, sorry. I was specifically not responding because I don't watch modern kids cartoons. I stick more to South Park or Futurama, or the classic Transformers(not the new stuff).

I've watched a few episodes of the new Ninja Turtles...they changed the story a bit, and it wasn't as cool.

Anyway, back on topic. I loved the Spider-Man cartoon that was on around the same time as Batman: The Animated Series. They both seemed so cool and...I dunno, grown up. It's been awhile since I've seen either, but I'm guessing that while Batman is probably still a really cool show, Spider-Man probably hasn't aged as well. I remember they used CG cityscapes for while Spidey was swinging around the city, and even then, it was bad GGI.

I wasn't a big fan of that Spider-Man cartoon. It was okay at first, but got a little too melodramatic after a while (and yes, I know that angst is a big part of Spider-Man's characterization). Batman's series was always cool (too bad they eventually jetisoned their old animation in favor of something much more cartoonish and wooden).

The X-Men cartoon that debuted before it (1992-1997) was pretty cool (I can't stand that "X-Men Evolution" crap that came out after the first movie).

I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an obi-wan to go.

The first x-men cartoon was pretty cool, it kept with the comics as much as it could. Evolution was a dire step towards the mainstream (hey everyone, lets make Rouge a Goth, Goths are in fashion!).

Wasn't their a superman cartoon too, drawn by the same people who did the batman one?

I want to go back to the films of the 80's, where plots were simple, and explosions happened regularly....

The Goths have never harmed me, but that doesn't mean Rogue has to be one.

Yes, there was. It ran from 1996-2000, with Tim Daly of TV's "Wings" as the voice of Superman, Dana Delany as the voice of Lois Lane and Clancy Brown as Lex Luthor. Batman did a crossovers with him.

Batman and Superman (now voiced by George Newbern) currently appear on "Justice League" opposite Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Flash, the Martian Manhunter, Hawkgirl and many others.

Not true. It was on at 1am, I used to watch it. I didn't realise it ever got a mainstream spot though.

Oh yeah, I loved Goliath's voice in that. But the plot was kinda crazy at times. Loved it.

I hear that the old Thundercats cartoon from the mid-80s is coming out on DVD in August. Kind of makes me wonder how much longer it'll be till someone picks up the Ghostbusters cartoon and puts that out on DVD.
