Well, it's a fresh face to me. Chris Reeve had that going for him. And this supes looks a little like Tom Welling from Smallville. (New ep tonight: CK has amnesia and gets to learn all about his powers again.)

Of course his legs look big, the camera angle is from that of a mouse. That's why Michelangelo Intentionally exagerated head and hand size on the David.

don't like the belt buckle. Might as well be a US Flag.

Well, I think his muscles look fine and the suit looks fine (possibly just need to adjust the color balance on the blue/red? I think it might just be the picture), but his hair is terrible! Chris Reeve had the same problem -- it looks like he didn't rinse throuroughly after shampooing.

I think the hair is supposed to look slicked over; probably the only way to get that S spit-curl look.

I can't believe you are worrying about Superman's hair. Would you, I mean really would any of you ever wore that outfit? Boxer shorts worn OVER tights? Cape? Whoever gets to play the role surely must be promised millions ever to consider to get dressed like that.
I suppose I would don that outfit after getting no less than 10 M$

I see, so it is all about being able to spot a bit of a boob, right? I thought there are less moronic ways to do that than wearing tacky pants...

Well, there is just renting bad porn flicks. Or Diamonds Are Forever. Or Conan the Barbarian.

MC, I'd personally ask you to go read a post I was working on in the screening room, but I decided to let it die quietly because, well, it just wasn't working.

But please, feel free to keep mocking Superman.

On a separate note, I heard that Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, the creators of the Superman character, created him as a symbol of Jews triumphing in the face of adversity. Siegel and Shuster were both Jewish, and their is a very small resemblance between Superman and Moses - namely, they were both sent away by their parents to escape certain doom, and both eventually grew up to perform heroic deeds.

When did Moses wear his underwear on the outside?

I'd rather Moses not wear his underwear in plain view of the public.

Why not?

The question is, sure, he parted the bloody sea, but would you trust a man with his underwear outside the pants/robes? History may have been a lot different.
