Thankx smile.gif. I guess I was away for quite a long time. Anyway, I played HOMMV a bit more this afternoon, and as I advanced in the game, my comp started to show signs of an overloaded donkey on an ascending road. Playing a game on too slow a machine always gives me headache, so there goes another game, waiting for me getting a better computer, which may be this autumn.

BTW, the English version of HOMMV was awailable from the internet shop and it was 30% MORE expensive than the Polish version, on which the guys had to spend money doing voiceovers, translations etc. I do feel ripped off, but I had no choice.

A friend found his old copys of Might and Magic 6 and 7, so he lent them to me. Got 6 up and running last night. The graphics are better then I expected, but I got slaughtered by a random group of goblins then went to sleep. I may hit it again tonight to get a better idea of what's happening, unless I go out to the local pool hall again.

Found a copy of Blood Rayne on sale for $20 the other day. Never played it before, but figured what the hell. The start was rather frustrating, but once I got out of Louisianna, it's been bloody awesome. Can't wait to get home and give it another go tonight.

Ooooooh, I am so bad at that game... my brother sticks me in the back of the battle and tells me to just keep healing him, and I can't even do that right. wacko.gif

I have been playing Phantasy Star Online Episodes I & II PLUS for Gamecube(I'm currently workin' on becoming a bazillionaire). Lotsa fun. And that new Soccer game for Mario.

I've seen Might and Magic 4 at my local games shop for 3 bucks. I forget, is that one of the good ones or no?

I've just gotten Eve-Online yesterday and am getting my feet wet in my space-pirating/'legitimate-trading' fantasy game. I'm surpirsed that it's running at all on Dial-up and only 256mb ram, pleasantly surprised. Eitherway I am still going to get another stick to further my enjoyment of blasting pirates out of the sky and trading all those sweet sweet trade goods.

If you don't see me for a few days, there I am.

I bought an old NES & am playing the legend of zelda

never have I made it to the 9th level!

I've read many walk throughs to answer my question but it's never even mentioned

in the 9th dungon, the walk throughs say to just go up 2 screens...well there's an old man in the 1st room you can go in & he say's you must have all the triforces to pass

he won't let me pass

I don't know what to do & it's driving me crazy. I'm stuck

Does anyone know why this is happening & what I can do?

I've retrieved every item in every dungeon there is to get, I've purchased everything, I don't know what I'm missing?

If you can help, you'll be my hero!

You have all the pieces to the triforce, right? Your yellow triangle in your menu is full?

It's the old school NES original version Natalie

looktothesky - I know I'm missing one, I though you got it at the end of level 9? Is that not correct? I am missing one??

I will go back into every dungeon 1-8 tonight when I get home from work to make positively sure I've gotten every triforce from every dungeon.

Thank you SO MUCh for the suggestion, I hope that's it!!!

Yeah, you need the 8 pieces from the 8 dungeons before the man will let you through. My best friend gave me his golden cartidge versions of The Legend of Zelda and the Adventure of Link, amongst other fantastic old games.

I'm back to playing Tales of Symphonia after beating Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, and after that, may try to finish Resident Evil 4, and after that, maybe Skies of Arcadia Legends. I'm also playing this cool roguelike that's in beta called IVAN. It needs a lot of work, but is still obscenely difficult and just as addicting, like other roguelikes out there. I need to go get another copy of Rogue and play that.

I rarely play anything anymore, but if I do, I'll hook up the ol' Dreamcast and play a few rounds of Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike! Best animation for a 2D fighter, ever! Other than that, I'll play Republic Comando on Xbox, that or Jedi Academy. If I'm feeling nostalgic, I'll dig up the N64 and blow crap up on Bomberman 64!

Cobnat - you can get the Polish version of Deus Ex, both original and invisible war. You can get Polish version of KOTOR (yick). You can get Polish version of Quake IV. hey are working on the Polish version of Oblivion.

Have the Poles made any games or is everything there from the west?
