Hard to say. The game was made for somebody, just not me. I'm not really into tactics games. I liked the idea of playing Fallout and getting to actually control my party (as the AI had them do the most stupid things in Fallout 1/2), but the lack of an actual RPG killed my interest very quickly.

Actually... That sounds pretty good to me. Not being much of an RPG fan, I can cope with the lack of RPG elements.

Anyway... Haven't had much time for video games lately. I've been getting into F-Zero GX again whenever I've had the chance. That game doesn't get even half of the recognition it deserves. It's just one big adrenaline rush.

I got the chance to check out HDR with full bloom lighting on Halflife 2 recently for a few minutes.

I'm playing juggle three huge final projects with not enough time to finish any of them right now. Does that count?

I'm playing Pokemon Pearl, and I trade, battle, and chat online with my boyfriend (who bought Pokemon Diamond so we could play together). Sure, it's dorky, but it's fun! lol.

I've never beaten SiRen, that game was WAY too hard for me! Let me know what you think of it, though. It was such a great game, but I wish I was good at it to actually get far in it. sad.gif

(One thing I didn't like about it, though, was that most of the characters had English accents angry.gif )

I'm playing Vampire Bloodlines now, and it'd be a great game, but the loading screens are twice as long than the actual gameplay, goddammit. Stupid Source engine, who the hell tested this garbage?

They made a Puyo Puyo 2? I thought the first was just a ripoff of columns to begin with. Why make a second?

I don't understand the attraction. I played it for a bit. It was interesting, I had fun. But I can't see how you can get more then a few hours of game play out of it. There's just not that much to hold your attention. Also, I ended up with a sore hand. Those damn buttons were too far apart.

Are you serious? Never ever ever attempt to actually play guitar then. The neck on the controller is scaled down considerably, and they're actually much closer together. Not to mention the fact that they're huge, and incredibly easy to hit.

Turns out, a few hours after making that post, I tried playing the game again, this time a lot less sober. Much more enjoyable. Also, I didn't notice the keys being too spaced as much.

Though I would have thought that with a real guitar, you would be able to tune it such that the position you need to place your finger to create a standing wave on the string would change?

The place you need to put your finger on a guitar's neck doesn't change. It's not like the frets change in size.

I played Guitar Heroes (the second one) for the first time today, and it definitely came pretty easy to me. Might be due to the fact that I do play the guitar, I dunno. But yeah, it's a lot easier than playing the guitar for real, and the buttons are much much closer reaches than a lot of reaches you will have on a guitar. But Guitar Heroes is more fun than I thought it would be. Before playing it I was thinking, okay, so it's a guitar-shaped Simon game. But it's cooler than I thought and I had fun.

And currently, I'm playing Pokemon Pearl on the DS (and my brother has Diamond, ha). I'm a dork, whee! I can't believe how much the games have changed since the last time I played (Red/Blue/Yellow).
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.
