Don't know about Stronghold Deluxe, but I've played Stronghold, I think. That's the siege one, right? It seemed pretty good, but I lacked the patience for it. I have Lionheart, and actually pulled it out again a few days ago. The first half of the game is brilliant, but sadly the second half doesn't follow through. I'd suggest playing a demokin with the vampiric fury racial trait, with high strength, endurance, intelligence and agility, and moderate luck. Take the Gifted and Small Frame traits, and for tag skills take unarmed, divine favour and either divine fortitude or speachcraft. Choice of spirits isn't too important, but the Elemental Spirit is voiced by Bastila Shan(well, Jennifer Hale, really, but she voiced Bastila Shan).

Then I should play it one day, just for the sake of hearing Bastila again smile.gif ... I must admit, I did not play it a lot, I did not like the graphics very much, but maybe I was not patient enough.

Jennifer Hale actually does a lot of voices. She's Bastila Shan in the KotOR games, Ms Hunt in Metal Gear Solid(perhaps looktothesky could give the characters full name, as I can't remember and she tends to love that game), the Elemental Spirit in Lionheart, Mazzy Fenton in Baldurs Gate 2, Dieonarra and Fall-from-Grace in Planescape: Torment, and I'm sure many others. It's a bit odd, playing a game and thinking the voice is familiar. It happens surprisingly often.

Ahh, that would be the one. I had a vague idea of the name, but not the time to look it up. And as for MGS2, the fact that the managed to release it on about every platform I don't have means I never got to play it sad.gif Seriously, why the hell did they remake the first one(well, third, but you know what I mean)on the cube, but not the rest?

I've heard from a lot of people that MGS2 sucked anyways. Get a PS2! There's lots of good games for it that aren't anywhere else.

I've been meaning to get Planetscape: Torment for some time now. Anybody care to point me in the right direction? They don't have anythign at EB anymore since they stopped taking used computer games.

Dammit, how'd I manage to forget that? I love that game!

My friend managed to find a copy of Planescape on Ebay, got it for $50(which I assume was Australian). That's about the only way you could procure it legally.

I just re-installed The Sims 2 last night. Damn, who knew that playing house was so much fun. No wonder 4 year olds do it all the time.

Last time I just went through the motions and played around with the 1X1 room of death and fire (Which I'm not knocking, but damn it was a pain in the ass to get the eaten by flies death). But now I'm thinking about fiddling around with the story mode and there is nothing stopping me from playing in my own soap-opera-esq sandbox.

Just played through GTA San Andreas. Damn, that took quite some time. Quite a welcome change from all those other games that can be played through in one or two games. Like Freelancer. Finished that one in less than 24 hours, just to get into the mood again before buying (or maybe: ehem) Darkstar One.

Got a copy of Heroes of Might and Magic 3 the other day. Don't know why everybody says it's much better then 4, they seem the same to me.

Heroes of Might and Magic V, freshly out of internet shop. Good things:
map is zoomable now, you can choose angle too. Takes some etting used to, though. Mini-map is horrible, though, both structures and your unit is marked blue - impossible to see anything.
Creatures are upgradeable now.
Heroes speak more, and the whole plot is more comprehensible.

Bad things:
Music not as nice as HOMM IV.
Battle view is not as nice as HOMM IV
Graphics is blurred
Menus are not very user -friendly.

That's it for now.

Nice to hear from you again. I was thinking of getting HoMM5, but I'm trying to upgrade my computer, and didn't want to shell out the money for the brand new game. I figure I'll wait a bit and see what eventuates.
