Jane- I seriously hope you were just joking about the Ritalin. That shit is mindfuck poison. They tried to get me on it when I was like ten but I always held it under my tongue and then spit it out later.

QUOTE (thrawn @ Apr 21 2005, 09:14 AM)
The Master Race factor doesn't really apply anymore nor it is feasable by todays standards,  it only remains as a fantasy that one can dream of.
Putting Nazi ideas into the world today, for me means the protection of the white race in Europe for the future generations of the people from those lands. Why is the white race superior in terms of Christendom? mainly because the European white race is more culturally superior to most other cultures, in terms of achievments, philosophy, traditions and ideals. Also because Christendom originally was associated with Europe since it is were it officially began.

Yes "all men are created equal", yet God choses a certain CHOSEN PEOPLE to spread His Word, why couldn't He have all people in general as His chosen people, I guess God also sees differances in the divisions of man. If you read the Bible God helps the Jews fight of many GROUPS OF PEOPLE for example the Assyrians. God helped the outnumbered Jews destroy an entire Assyrian attack.

God seems to like the 'underdogs' in most situations...
"meek shall inherit the earth" and all that...

according to the bible god saved the jews from the egyptians, the romans were wiped out...

despite it all... i really don't think he likes people messing with the jews.

being half dutch, i am quite familiar with cultural state of europe, but i don't know if i would go so far as to say 'culturaly superior'... i mean there are countries out there dishing out savage punishments to unsavage crimes who need to catch up with modern civilization, but ultimatley there are many cultures who may not have built as many structures or developed fine wines, but did manage to live harmoniously with nature and have no negative impact upon it. they also managed to not host long bloody wars... i don't consider it entirely fair to think of them as culturally inferior exactly...

I just don't really think the white race is an endangered species (despite americas attampts to make everyone an enemy)... I guess my point is that i don't really see how adopting facism as a philsophy is really neccesary as such, to preserve culture. I think if countires make it clear that it is something they intend to uphold, they should make it clear to people and pass laws to protect buildings and areas... but ultimatley genetic make up isn't all that much of a factor... it's cool to be proud of what you are, but there is no real threat...[at least as long as australians stop going to bali wink.gif ]

Gotta agree with JM on this one. It's caused nerve damage in lab tests.

Jane: Your answer 5, I know exactly what you're talking about.

Lecter: "They brainwash them into thinking that America is going to just declare war on them for their resources and spread their flag across the world in a new age style of Imperialism." That's not brainwashing, that's telling the truth. We're the new 1700's England. God Save Dubyah.

And people, please, please, please calm down. Take a deep breath and post civily or I'm going to have to get out the mod stick. If not for the forums, if not for God, if not for human decency, do it for me because I gave blood today.

Edit: Thrawn: Please don't start on how America has even remotely liberal propaganda. We're in a regime that silences its enemys and refuses to allow criticism to be shown against it. In that thread about the empire toppling, I hadn't heard a single word of it mentioned in the news. In fact, you should be applauding it for its descent into totalitarianism. We're even moving toward theocracy! The only problem is that it doesn't silence every critic and can't control minds yet, but we'll all love Big Brother soon enough.

That's exactly what I did from age nine to thirteen before they finally stopped making me take it. But I finally realized how serious the ADD was when I was sixteen and had to do something about it. It makes me jumpy and hyperactive and doubles my OCD when it's wearing off, but I can't get anything work-related done without it. (Funny how it's really supposed to calm a person down so they can concentrate...)

Funny, that's what my brother (who takes Aderal instead) and best friend say about it, too. It's my understanding that it must work differently for different people.

...Wait...what kind of nerve damage? I've been taking twenty to forty milligrams of Ritalin LA for each school day for at least two years now.

Something like 1/3rd of American children take Ritalin. In some cases it actually is necessarybut in others itss just lazy parents saying "blah, you're making too much noise, have a pill."

The problem with Ritalin aside from the nerve damage which I havnt read about is if people who dont need it take it it screws up their brain chemistry. Just like if there's a fire and you throw water on it you'll put out the fire. If there's not a fire and you throw water on it you get mud.

Doctors get paid for asigning prescriptions, wheras they make less money for saying stuff like "why dont you be a parent to your child instead of a bottle of pills" If you actually need the stuff thats a different story, but I know most people who take it dont benefit at all.

Agreed, parents today are being complete pussies when it comes to saying no to their child. If you don't beleive me look at an older sibling's child or a friends kid and compare that to your childhood. My mom slaped me upside the head when I went LALALALALALALALALALA too loudly or when I broke something and I would rather that happend than her wasting all that money pilling me up.

Besides kids are boringer and boringer. I remember that along with my ample TV and video game time, me and my friends had many misadventures. But I look at my neice and fatass nephew and feel a bit disappointed.

Stupid safety, gettin in the way of all that fun.

Kids are also getting dumber too! Any time I have to interact with them I get stabby. I can understand that their brains aren't finished developing yet in some cases, but others, GAH!

And in Papel news, I've sent a petition to God asking him to ressurect the late Phil Hartman so I can add him to my staff. We need younger people in this silly beuracracy!

Thrawn just gets more loathesome with each posting.

He says he disagrees with the Nazis for targeting the clergy (his guys) but defends the murder of hundreds of thousands of children (among others) because ONE guy got shafted two thousand years ago.

And I know that a lot of people here don't want to have another Nazi thread so from now on when responding to thrawn I will instead use the terms "child murderers" and "serial killers" because that is what thrawn is in truth defending and attempting to glorify.

RANDOM THOUGHT: Eunichs in the clergy - (*shrug*) why not? They take vows of chasity anyway, call it insurance.

And they'll have lovely singing voices. happy.gif

Edit:Just do not post in anger, for that leads to the Flame Side.

Jane: Interesting idea, but I'm anti-mutilation. It's blasphemy against the human body and just plain mean. However, in all serious, I'm curious as to why that celibacy rule is in there. It seems like it's just asking for disaster.

They're supposed to be above temptation, so I guess it's another one of gods tests. But Jane has a good point.

I think Thrawn may have gone back to the starwars forum, shame, I was hoping he and Hannibal would have a run in.

I think the average age for a new pope is the mid-sixties. John Paul II was one of the youngest popes ever elected, and he was 55 at the time. The average age for a papal rule is about 10 years and the church is two millennia old. This means there have been a lot of fucking popes. Not that you were wrong, its just that this election is not really any more stupid than any of the others.

Oh and Benedict is a really gay name. And he picked it himself.
