Suction doesn't work if the glass is too heavy with brew.

If you had a straw that would make things easier - but honestly, who goes around with a straw in their mouths or within tooth/tongue reach of it?

Who drinks beer from a straw? If there's a straw, it defeats the whole purpose of the joke.

My glass has a handle on the side, which would make it easier to lift.

I've got a stein... full ceramic with the pewter lid... maybe that would be easier - but I'm not gonna test it... precious stein.

Steins are a wonderful invention, a beer mug that can be safely used while singing or dancing. Hooray for steins!

My favorite glass is a plastic cup with the Notre Dame Fightin' Irish! that I got when I was 3. I don't drink alcohol.

Mine is a shot glass that a very good friend of mine made for me a Christmas or two ago, with "Insert Drink Here" on it. Its a double shot too, good for getting extra measures, crap when you're doing a Centurion.

I do have a tankard somewhere, but it was a christening present, and probably knuckle-deep in dust now.

My usual drinking cup is the universal party cup. A big plastic cup that is red on the outside and white on the inside. I need to pick up a shot glass so I can stop eyeballing shots of vodka in my numerous empty raspberry iced tea bottles.

Heh heh heh... My dad recently got a huge red plastic spaceship cup from KSC (Kennedy Space Center). He obsessively drinks out of it now.

My stein is about a pint... but I have a glass, about two shots, in the shape of a beer mug that says "We serve small beers in Melbourne" on it. Though as for favourites I have a (regrettably) unused drinking chess set.
Hooray for drinking chess - it allows us to be civilised and boorish at the same time!

Drinking chess is indeed a good thing.

I also have four Homer Simpson shotglasses, but regardlss of how cool they are, they don't get much use. I dislike shots. I want to get a good scotch glass for when I drink whiskey and ice.

A friend of mine has six numbered shotglass and a dice. If you can't work out how that game works, you're a prat.
