Perhaps there's been a thread on this but I'd didn't find it in my cursory search. Anyway, funny stuff: Anakin whines like he's thirteen. Obi-Wan (whoever acted his part did a great job of mimicking Ewan McGregor's speech) keeps taking sips from a hip flask - presumably he needs a few shots of single malt just to get through this awful movie. Jar Jar takes about two dozen poison darts before going down. Palpatine is just a little too effeminate for his own good. And R2D2 likes to get pee'd on (now that was just creepy, not funny.) And, at the very end, Yoda takes a big gulp from a cold one. Fun for all!

There's been a land office business in parody films, especially after Episode II, hasn't there? We've got this, Fall of a Saga - hell, AtomFilms has a whole freakin' subdomain for Star Wars parodies. Of course most of these are innocent funny but still, you can't go wrong making films that suggest Lucas has lost it.

You just saw it? Do you work at a magazine or something, cause it doesn't come out for another month?

Oh, it was great. You should have seen it. There was one scene where Anakin whines for ten minutes nonstop and the camera never cuts away - Orson Welles wouldn't in a million years have dared such a scene. And there's another scene where you see Obi-Wan refilling his flask from a pint bottle of Jameson's. I'm talking first-class cinema here, folks.
