I used to watch OC with a friend of mine, and we just sat there and laughed. I mean, it's so stupid and unbelivable that it comes off as funny. But what was even better was his little brother(would have been about 17)was getting right into it. He took it seriously, and we found that hilarious. Its like he was a 14 year old girl.

Sadly, I think my brother views the show the same way.

Problem is, I'm the only person here who can tell how stupid it is. Everyone else is trying to break me down and make me like it. No way, Jose...

I have two suggestion to turn this show into a good show.

A) Broadcast it without sound.

T.V. has really turned into shit, there is NOTHING good on the tube anymore... unless you're a teenie-bobber with a snobbish attitude that is.

You say that after Little Britain finished running. That show rocked. Also, we have The Glass House here. I assume you would have something similar in your local.

I don't watch much TV, and most of it is shit, but there are some good ones, like Mythbusters, Monk, and lots of Comedy Central and Adult Swim

Mythbusters is good, but I always forget to watch it. It has a bad timeslot. Most of the shows I like aren't on atm, so I just watch the Glass House and Stargate: Atlantis.

Bah. Stargate ran out around season 5 or six, but they keep dragging it on. Also, I concur, Chyld, on the OC. Anyone who doesn't watch that show specifically for the eye candy needs to be shot.* It's the archetype of what's wrong with the world! Everyone is physically perfect and totally void of any character. It's a Brave New World, but I can't down any soma to escape it.**

Wahey! The more the merrier! I'd have a gander at your site, if it weren't for the problem that it doesn't exist...

And my telly choices? They do vary, but since nobody here watches Family Guy anymore, and I don't have a telly, I'd have to say "Fuck it."

I like BSG2005, but not many other people do. They say it is quite unlike the original. But I don't care. I mean, I've seen the original, It wasn't very good. (And now, because I was just asking for me to say this) It didn't have 6 in it.

Battlestar: Galactica is great. As is Family Guy, but as none of them are on TV here, I can't watch them. Most of what I watch I get from the internet. To be honest, I have never ever met a person in real life that has even vaugly heard of Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

Don't even get me started on the OC/similar shows. This is what I often had to put up with way too frequently: "OMG did u c the OC/similar show last night?" "NO I had to miss it I was like gonna DIE!!!11" "OMG THEY BROKE UP" "Nooo..." "Yes!" "OMG!" "OMG!" So then I would summon my herd of mutant llamas to stampede everyone.

Amen sister.

Obsessives Tv show discussions are by far one of the most annoying things in the modern age. What I don't get though is why they even take place. In Blightly anyhow all the storylines are spilled months in advance by the gossip rags, or we've downloaded the US version.

'Did you see 'generic popular show' last night? Hillary was in a car accident and drove into a lake full of pirhanas.'
'Oh I read about that months ago. Don't worry, she survives the coma, wakes up next week and marries the octopus that saved her, but not before Darren has Franks baby and.....'

I want to go back to the films of the 80's, where plots were simple, and explosions happened regularly....
