What is, in the opinions of our sainted tech staff, the best person to person file sharing program? I've heard that Kazaa rather sucks now, and have been hearing good things about winmx

I use Ares. It works well enough. I don't use P2P for much of anything anymore, though. I tend to stick to Bit Torrent.

I use Ares also. Some people I know use Bearshare, but I really don't like that P2P.

I use an old version of Kazaa. It handles my needs surprisingly well. I've been able to download many fine videos (Zappa boots and other concert footage, anime, so forth) with relatively little hassle, and it finds enough 'less common' music for my needs. And since it's old, ads don't bother me.

Yea torrents really are the way to go esp for large file transfers. Generally I stick with azureus for the torrent client.

Azureus is great, but I find that it tends to suck down my system a lot. I've been shopping around for a replacement, but haven't found much that struck my fancy.

Azureus is the best I've found so far but I'd take any suggestions. smile.gif

My latest torrent site of choice is http://www.myspleen.net .

I've gotten a lot of really great stuff from that site. They specialize in rare, unreleased stuff. Particularly good in the old Star Wars department and in finding old TV shows that you can't get on DVD. smile.gif

I notice that they only deal in TV torrents. Dang.

I try to use Azureus, but my PC that I use for school is really tricky, so it only wants to get Torrents once in a while. I still stick with Bearshare, but if my compooter wasn't so stoopid, then I'd use Azureus all the time!

I tend to go to http://www.boxtorrents.com/ a lot. They have tons of anime titles, and... some hentai series as well. whistling.gif

Just in case its an easy fix:
