P. Diddy - (Sorta) He was just in a store that I was outside of. It was his own clothing store because, apparently, you are no one if you don't have your own clothing line these days.
Bill Walton - Basketball player guy.
Richard Thomas - "John Boy" from The Waltons. Yeah, I never saw that show either. One of the nicest people I've ever met. I talked with him for about five minutes.
Jeremy Piven - Everyone's favorite bad guy / good guy from various college-themed movies.
Jon Stewart - One of my comedic heroes. I was so close to him I could have reached out and touched him... if I had ten foot arms.

You are following a proud tradition of meeting famous people, who unfortunately will not remember who you are 5 minutes after they leave you.

Yeah, that's the sad part. However, I'm fine with P. Diddy not remembering me. I didn't even really see him. The Waltons guy may remember me... he's not doing much these days.

Where/how did you meet him? Did you just go to a taping of The Daily Show or what?

Other famous folks I've met or seen:
Crispen Glover when he was in town promoting an indie film he directed--I got kind of stuttery and just said that I really liked his movies. What a dummy.
I once saw Ollie North (lol!) right before Christmas at one of the local malls. Suppose he was doing some shopping. Didn't approach him though.

That would be awesome. I'd only want to talk about Back to the Future though. He's probably hate that.
And I have Todd Benzinger's autograph who played in the same CITY as both those guys!! Eerie.

Unlike a lot of celebrities, RT seemed to want to spend money no matter what, so he ended up chatting with me about what I liked, and we got to talking about the sorts of games they sell there. I ended up explaining roleplaying games to him and convinced him to buy some tasteful miniatures and some paint. The store manager clumsily asked him to sign a copy of White Dwarf magazine, which I thought was hilarious, and I told him (RT) that "I thought the remake of ALL'S QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT was quite good, despite what a lot of people had to say about it." I thought that was a damn clever thing to say at the time, and naturally it's one of those things I wish I could take back.
I've met some other famous people, and seen a few others, but Vancouver will in no way compete with New York City.
